Better showing at Listowel last month on second start back off a break, runs from the same mark and does need further progress to be landing this off top-weight.
Three-time winner on the Flat, has shaped well in maiden hurdles (runner-up at Clonmel on Thursday over 2m1f on good ground) and should run up to this opening handicap mark.
Cork maiden hurdle winner last summer over 2m on good ground, though that effort essentially a blot on otherwise unimpressive four-race hurdling career. Trailed home last of 16 at Navan last month on reappearance, hard to fancy. Tongue tie added.
Unplaced in six starts in maiden hurdles, doesn't look progressive and probably best watched now starting out in handicaps for the first time.
Tramore maiden hurdle winner in November 2016, only two more runs over timber since (sat out for 631 days). Looked to need the run at Listowel last month, but since run well on the level at Galway and worth noting in the betting this time.
0-7 over timber and often quirky, Clonmel effort in May (second) would see him holding claims if repeating now. Two good runs on the Flat, including July win at Leopardstown (1m5f, good to firm) since then.
Decent third over hurdles at Galway when last seen back in August. Walk In The Park mare yet to win over timber but can be on the shortlist after that promising effort.
Tramore maiden hurdle winner (2m, good) in August on first start over timber, held in two handicaps since at Galway and Downpatrick. Tongue tie added here and not one to discount totally.
Two from 25 over hurdles with her most recent win over timber coming in a 2m4f handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse close to two years ago. Has questions to answer on recent form, though mark is dropping.
Maiden over jumps with more poor efforts than good ones. Down Royal fourth (2m, yielding) in September last year came off an 11lb higher mark, but efforts since don't suggest he's well-placed to take advantage of sliding rating.
Nothing of note in a number of handicap hurdles since May and first-time blinkers didn't bring about the required amount of improvement needed at Limerick in July when last spotted, makes little appeal.

Hallmark (4/1), Tarazani (4/1), Reaver (11/2), Bridge Native (11/2), Pass Hymn (8/1), Teqany (10/1), Clementina (11/1), Maighnealta (14/1), Constable Buckley (14/1), Abraham (18/1), Sillogue Pio (20/1), Oromo (25/1)
TARAZANI has some quirks but he's run well twice on the Flat of late and his Clonmel second in May over timber would put him right in the mix for this prize. He gets the vote, just ahead of Reaver, who was placed in a maiden at that same Tipperary track on Thursday and is turned out quickly again for handicap bow. Clementina showed improved form at Galway and needs a look here as a result while Hallmark may be capable of better than we've seen so far.
- Tarazani
- Reaver
