Has done nothing but improve since being equipped with a visor. Found even more last time on first try at this trip and earns a penalty as a result. That still leaves him 4lb ahead of his new official mark and he will take plenty of beating.

Improved on soft ground last time to finish third in a decent Ayr novice. The runner-up is officially rated 99 and the fifth 77, so he has done well to get in here on a mark as low as this

Still looked a work in progress when fourth at Doncaster on his first run since being gelded. Handicapper has given him a chance if he has improved since then.

Dam was an AW winner at 1m2f so switch to this surface a positive after a fair fourth on desperate ground at Ayr last time. Blinkers replace cheekpieces.

Has the best part of eight lengths to find with Hard Taskmaster on latest Chelmsford running and that is asking a lot, although a better start would help.

Forecasts

Hard Taskmaster (1/1), Nathless (9/4), Jacko (6/1), Hoffa (8/1), Sepahi (25/1)

Verdict

HARD TASKMASTER is ahead of the handicapper at present and can complete the four-timer although his task may not be as straightforward as it looks. Jacko gets in on a lower mark than expected for his nursery debut if the form of his latest run can be taken at face value. The fact they finished in a heap casts some doubt but he has to be feared. Nathless still looked raw last time but has the ability to win something soon, whilst Hoffa is out of an AW winner so improvement can be expected.
