Useful form for Willie Mullins this year, including in graded company. Won starts at Ballinrobe and Cork in straightforward fashion before find Galway Hurdle too hot. Not disgraced though, and big chance here.

Fairly useful hurdler produced a career-best when winning six-runner minor event hurdle at Galway (2m5½f, yielding to soft) last month. Entitled to have claims.

Won a Punchestown maiden hurdle in May (2m, good) and only just denied at Galway in July in this grade. Had a spin around Naas on the Flat last month and should have more to offer back over timber, potential improver.
Career-best when winning 18-runner novice hurdle at Clonmel (2m4f, good to soft) 15 days ago, needs plenty more in this company seemingly and looks second pick from Harrington pair.

Forecasts

Good Thyne Tara (4/7), Awayinthewest (4/1), Holding Pattern (9/2), Make My Heart Fly (12/1), The Princetonian (40/1), Movingswiftlyalong (50/1)

Verdict

GOOD THYNE TARA was denied the hat-trick in the Galway Hurdle last time out, but she had done things well in her wins previously and looks to have a good chance to regain the winning thread here. Awayinthewest is in decent form and ought to run well while Holding Pattern is improving and could easily have plenty more to give. Make My Heart Fly will find this much tougher than her recent wins in Britain.
  1. Good Thyne Tara
  2. Holding Pattern
  3. Awayinthewest
