War Front colt whose best effort to date when neck second of five to Parkers Hill in a Leopardstown maiden in June before a disappointing run at the same track in August over 6f. Could be interesting stepping up in trip.
Will have frustrated connections in four defeats since debut run at Dundalk on the AW in May, though did finish third of eight on sole start at this trip in August. Strong claims for yard who usually go well here at this time of year.
Handicap debut winner over 7f on good ground at Down Royal last month before disappointing at Naas last time. Plenty to prove on AW debut.
Beaten favourite in a Down Royal 5f maiden earlier this month finishing third of 10 beaten a head when hampered behind Rockview Spirit. Deserves a change of luck and enters calculations here.
Looked set to get off the mark latest when kicking clear at Cork over 7f but stamina emptied and he was collared late on. Well held since and others preferred.
Morpheus colt who cost €22,000 as a yearling. Won a maiden at Limerick back in June but has generally been well held in a number of drab efforts since.
Career best last time when third of 20 beaten a little over 2L in a Naas maiden over 6f last month. Step up in trip not sure to suit.
Half-sister to useful handicapper Moonmeister, and improved a bit on debut when 7½L seventh of 21 to Foxtrot Liv at the Curragh before another promising effort at Naas last month. Entitled to make shortlist.
Got off the mark at the third time of asking for connections when landing a 6f Naas contest last month at 25/1. Another bold show looks likely.
Registered her first placed effort when second in a 7f contest at Down Royal on handicap debut before disappointing at Naas last month. Well held on sole C&D appearance in August.
Running well in defeat over the summer before a dismal run at Naas last month when finishing 23L adrift of the winner. Hard to fancy on latest evidence.
Nothing of note in three starts to date and first time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Forecasts
Rita Levi (3/1), National Guard (4/1), Colfer Me (5/1), Laura Bullion (7/1), Eagle Song (8/1), Rathmoylan Cove (17/2), Vidiyni (12/1), Isle Of Shadows (12/1), Miacomet (20/1), Hidden Spark (33/1), Fox Hill (33/1), Joza (33/1)
The Mick Halford-trained VIDIYNI can build on his debut run here when beaten a little over 2L in May and land the spoils, getting off the mark for connections at the sixth time of asking. The stable have a 52% win and place strike rate at the track around this time in the last in the last three years. National Guard, last time out beaten favourite, Rita Levi and Laura Bullion can pose the biggest threat.
- Vidiyni
- National Guard
- Rita Levi
