It was heartbreaking to see the gallant Ace Master mugged late at Newcastle (7f) last week, and he would have the look of a handicap good thing with 5lb claimer Kevin Lundie taking over in the saddle but for the presence of Tuesday's 5f Kempton winner BROUGHTON EXCELS. His new trainer Stuart Williams is clearly getting to grips with this lightly-raced three-year-old who would appear to have plenty more races in the locker at this lowly level, and is impossible to oppose under a 6lb penalty. Spirit of Zebedee looks capable of playing a minor place role.
