Hard to knock what he's done this year, with a couple of wins to his name and far from disgraced in hot handicaps at the Curragh and Ayr on last two starts. Eases in class now, and should be competitive.
Both wins this season have come under this claimer, although over further. Disappointing at Newbury last time, and possible he's best dominating smaller fields.
Goodwood specialist who was better than ever in the spring, and finished second in the Dash at Epsom in June. Given a break afterwards, and hasn't fired in four subsequent outings.
Better on AW these days, but mark reflects that, so should be competitive having shown himself to be as good as ever when runner-up on last two starts at Chelmsford.
Both wins of late have come in optional claiming events, and again found plenty for pressure when beating Confessional at Haydock last time. Handicap mark remains very fair, and he has leading claims granted a sound pace.
Improved display when second of five at Newmarket in August, and close to that form when a close fourth behind Polybius at Kempton last time, but he's clearly vulnerable from his current mark.
Hasn't fired in competitive events since finishing second at Windsor in the summer, and while this represents an easier task, he remains opposable until showing a bit more dash.
Proving most consistent since winning at Chepstow in May, and again in the frame at Lingfield last time. Should again run her race, but beginning to look exposed.
Forecasts
Hart Stopper (3/1), Summerghand (4/1), Charles Molson (4/1), Louie de Palma (9/2), Rogue (7/1), Helvetian (10/1), Bungee Jump (14/1), Pettochside (25/1)
HART STOPPER may have been winning in optional claiming company, but they have been competitive affairs, and the 4-y-o still appears to be ahead of the handicapper after beating Confessional at Haydock. Charles Molson is in fine form on the AW of late, and is respected off his lower turf mark, with Summerghand not ruled out back in calmer waters after some tough tasks.
- Hart Stopper
- Charles Molson
