Iffraaj filly, cost €150,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to Group 1 winner Persuasive (1m) and the 6f-7f AW scorer Amazour; penalised for her May 1m fillies' novice win at Haydock (good to soft); obvious contender despite the absence.
First foal from a modest dam (7f/1m); trainer not a regular supplier of winners in such races; very unlikely unless the market provides clear positive signals.
67,000gns foal; 45,000gns yearling; produced an improved effort on her second start at Lingfield (7f, standard) last month when finishing a keeping on 5L third to Be My Angel; trainer also saddles Reassurance.
Half-sister to the 1m2f AW winner Bobs Her Uncle; well beaten at double figure odds on both starts so far (1m2f), and looks the type to be far better suited by handicapping in time; dropped in trip tonight.
£16,000 yearling; half-sister to five winners incl Fibresand scorers Dr Red Eye and Kumbeshwar; pleasing debut when a keeping on (from rear) 5¾L third to Collide at Carlisle (1m1f, soft); not quite so effective at Hamilton since (keen); AW debut.
Beaten just ½L by Thimbleweed at Nottingham (1m2f) in July, and has contested better races (handicaps) over further since; making her first start over 1m in newly applied cheekpieces; stablemate of Arctic Haze.
40-rated seven-race maiden; well out of her depth in this company despite being a half-sister to three winners (dam also a 6f AW scorer); no chance.
Helmet filly; dam an unraced half-sister to the 7f Listed winner Emboss; has had wind surgery since her 25/1 7f debut fifth of ten to Jellmood (beaten 7L) at Wolverhampton in December 2017.

Forecasts
Improve (4/7), Reassurance (7/2), Sun Hat (5/1), Never Be Enough (12/1), Arctic Haze (14/1), Call Me Madam (50/1), Toccata Mia (80/1), Ruby Cherub (150/1), Dutch Melody (200/1)
The most obvious candidate is the penalised Haydock winner IMPROVE with her trainer William Haggas well known for sending some promising horses to Newcastle since the conversion to Tapeta (15-43; 35%). Furthermore, her pedigree suggests that she'll appreciate this racing surface (her half-sister Amazour has a healthy strike-rate at Gosforth Park). Others to consider for the minor honours include the newly cheekpieced Reassurance, and the Sir Percy filly Never Be Enough who made a highly promising start to her racing career at Carlisle.
