No win in nine starts and big absences in her CV hint at possible issues. Ran better after a break at Lingfield last month, but hard to know whether that will bring her on as expected given her stop-start record.
Best effort for David Smaga in France when runner-up on debut as a 3-y-o. Hasn't progressed from that, and well held on debut for new yard here last month, although conceivable that he needed that run, and not badly treated on pick of form.
Goes well at Wolverhampton, gaining third course win over 1m6f in February. Well held in two runs since, including over hurdles, but can go well fresh, so no shock if he bounced back on his first start since the spring.
Matched pick of his earlier efforts when runner-up in a 1m4f handicap at Ffos Las on his latest start, despite showing a tendency to flash his tail. This is tougher, but draw and jockey are potential positives.
Typical late developing sort from this yard who gained back-to-back wins at Lingfield and Ffos Las, but couldn't complete the hat-trick at latter track despite escaping a penalty. Still on a fair mark, however, and considered.
Made a winning return at Wolverhampton in April on his first start since August 2016, and possibly unsuited by steady tempo when below form over 2m here last time. Off since June, hinting again at training problems.
Thriving in handicaps for current yard, winning at Brighton in August, and showing better form when placed on subsequent outings. Proved his stamina for this trip last time, and shortlist material once again.
Ran well when second off 1lb higher over C&D in May, but hasn't been at his best since. Excuses last time, but that was back in May, and he's entitled to need this after a break.
Clearly no star, and beaten 9L when fourth on handicap debut at Wolverhampton in July. Ran poorly last time, and not easy making a case for him on form.
Has shown some ability from basement marks, but no obvious excuse when only fifth of 10 at Wolverhampton on latest start, and likely to prove vulnerable once more.
Forecasts
Landue (3/1), King Athelstan (7/2), Sky Rocket (4/1), Highway One (8/1), Putto (8/1), Wallflower (10/1), Iley Boy (14/1), Ilhabela Fact (20/1), Wildomar (33/1), Captain George (33/1)
LANDUE failed to justify short odds at Ffos Las in his hat-trick bid, but still ran pretty well, and makes most appeal having gone up just 2lb for his penultimate outing. King Athelstan has thrived since joining Gary Moore, and should go well after proving his stamina for this trip on his latest start. A tendency to flash his tail didn't slow Sky Rocket down when second last time, and he should be on the premises again.
