Won three times last year in Ireland, and has made the frame on all four starts for current year, including when not beaten far in refitted blinkers over C&D last time. Top claimer booked, and shouldn't be far away.
Produced a career best effort when winning comfortably at Chelmsford (7f) in June, and in the frame on all four turf starts since without matching that. Return to Polytrack expected to suit, and not taken lightly.
Winner of a soft ground 7f contest at Brighton on his penultimate start, but efforts either side of that not so good, including here, and he's opposable on balance of form.
Won over 1m at Chelmsford in March and finished a close second over 7f at Wolverhampton in June. Not fired at all since then, however, finishing well beaten here on last two starts.
Disappointing for George Scott given hefty price-tag, but won on debut for current yard at Lingfield, and has run creditably on both subsequent starts, ridden too aggressively when fourth at Carlisle last time. One to keep in mind.
Beaten 4L when second in a C&D handicap in August, and only sixth here last time, for all she wasn't helped by the slow pace (pulled hard). Place claims at best now.
Has won over C&D, and back to winning ways at Yarmouth in May. Less encouragement in recent starts, although not knocked about (rider banned) when beaten at Salisbury last time, and better than that would suggest.
Has won handicaps at Windsor and Brighton this season but seems to be going off the boil at present, and offered little when push came to shove here last time.
Matched pick of recent form when fifth of 13 to Fair Selene over 1m here last time, running on well. Drop in trip is a slight worry, as his his record of no wins in 14 handicap starts.
Blinkered when winning at Wolverhampton (7f) in July, and back to that form when runner-up in similar event there last time. Needs to prove she can do it away from Tapeta, but not had many chances to do so.
Not disgraced when third at Yarmouth on penultimate outing, but essentially been below form this season, and now tried in a tongue tie for first time.
Won Windsor 5f maiden in July last year but absent 11 months before reappearing, and hasn't shown much in three runs this term. Visor tried now, but hard to enthuse about his chances.
Visored for first time when off the mark at fifteenth attempt at Chelmsford (1m) last time, staying on to lead late. Wide draw and drop to 7f makes her look an unlikely candidate to follow that up.
Not won since debut but back to form when runner-up in a C&D handicap last month, and easy enough to excuse latest effort on account of testing ground.
Forecasts
Slipstream (7/2), Burren View Lady (4/1), N Over J (9/2), Red Gunner (8/1), Garth Rockett (8/1), Javelin (11/1), Diva Star (16/1), City Guest (20/1), Good Luck Charm (20/1), Gulland Rock (20/1), Bombshell Bay (25/1), Formiga (33/1), Weloof (33/1), Holy Tiber (66/1)
GULLAND ROCK was much better than the result when well held at Salisbury last time, and is given a chance to prove as much back under professional handling. Burren View Lady and Slipstream are running well at present, and head the list of dangers in an open race.
- Gulland Rock
- Burren View Lady
- Slipstream
