Landed the odds twice at Chelmsford and Doncaster before sound efforts in Germany with second over 7f followed by Listed success latest over 1m. Has plenty of weight but also plenty of class and merits maximum respect.
Dual winner including on handicap debut at Pontefract in penultimate start before finding a Sandown Listed race too hot latest although surely that last place effort not her true running and absence since suggests so.
Won on second start at Leicester over 6f before finishing a remote third to subsequent Group One winner Pretty Pollyanna next in the Group Two Duchess Of Cambridge. Break since but open to improvement now upped to 7f.
Dual winner at 1m and 1m½f before finding the Group Two May Hill beyond her latest when ninth of 11. First handicap try but 7f may be on the sharp side.
Second in first two starts before winning a 5½f Bath maiden. Good third next over 1f further behind Stay Classy. Another step up in trip here albeit only ½f and raised 3lb but not out of this by any means.
Dual 6f nursery winner finished powerfully when winning last time out over 6f at Leicester. 4lb rise not unreasonable and very real chance she improves for extra furlong so big player here.
Battled to second success latest in a class 2 Doncaster Nursery over 6½f (Winter Light third). Raised 7lb for that which makes life much tougher but has progressed nicely since fitting of hood.
Promise in latest two starts with Goodwood fourth followed by Leicester third under forcing tactics. One of two for trainer who won this last year and rated an interesting recruit to handicaps.
Finished a 3¼L fourth to Stay Classy latest at Doncaster and is now 8lb better off with that rival. Possibility therefore of a reversal although suspect that rival and Winter Light, third that day will again hold sway.
Second in three AW maidens, the last twice as favourite. Now goes into handicaps with a nice racing weight, especially with 5lb claimer up and trainer won this last year so merits respect.
Wolverhampton AW winner was very disappointing on handicap debut latest at Thirsk although combination of 1m and soft ground offer excuses. Others are still more appealing.
1½L third of four latest in a muddling 1m contest at York her best form but still some way short of the required on handicap bow.
Forecasts
Chaleur (9/4), Stay Classy (7/1), Winter Light (7/1), Seductive (7/1), Wingreen (9/1), Divinity (10/1), Porcelain Girl (10/1), I'll Have Another (11/1), Evie Speed (16/1), Octave (22/1), Queen Constantine (33/1), Jungle Juice (33/1)
I'LL HAVE ANOTHER has established herself as a smart filly and she can prove too classy for these rivals, her trainer does particularly well with two-year-olds here. Chaleur is interesting and rates a serious player but her absence is a slight concern. Wingreen, the most appealing of two handicap debutants for William Haggas who won this last year is also expected to go well.
- I'll Have Another
- Chaleur
- Wingreen
