Fourth in the Albany at Royal Ascot before no match for 7L winner Pretty Pollyanna next. Won subsequently at Ascot despite hanging right and again attempted to do so despite rails birth at York when last of nine. Tough to fancy here.
Completed a hat-trick in the Group Three Prix Cabourg at Deauville before no match next for Pretty Pollyanna and Signora Cabello in the Morny. Possibly went too fast there but still hard to envisage reversal with either.
Won three of her four races to date and unlucky in lone defeat when third in the Albany where she won her own side. Made most and battled back having been headed latest in the Lowther and commands respect for yard which has won last two renewals.
Beaten a short head by Signora Cabello in Queen Mary but no match next for Pretty Pollyanna. Second next at the Curragh in a Listed race before Flying Childers third. Speedy and consistent but probably short overall at this level.
Beat recent impressive Gowran winner Pink Dogwood by 10L on second start before twice coming up short to Skitter Scatter in Group Two and One races over 7f. Drop to 6f may suit but but to find with the principles.
Lingfield AW winner was third next up before found out when fifth of nine in Salisbury Group Three. Faces a near impossible task.
Behind Fairyland and Angel's Hideaway when fifth in the Albany but annihilated the latter and Albany winner Main Edition next up before narrowly defeating Signora Cabello in Group One Prix Morny. That form outstanding and sets a high standard here.
Improving filly gained fourth success and maiden Group win latest at Ayr on heavy ground where she was impressive. Significant step up in class now and very different ground so task looks tougher.
Established herself as the best early season two-year-old when winning the Queen Mary (Gossamer Wings short-head second) before winning French 5½f Group Two. Narrowly held next by Pretty Pollyanna in Morny and work to do to reverse.
Ballydoyle first string when close fourth in Queen Mary won by Signora Cabello. Beat subsequent Group One winner next before close second in the Group One Phoenix behind a very high class colt. Realistic chance for yard who won last two renewals.
Carlisle winner was third next to Angel's Hideaway before looking to have secured the upset in the Lowther before losing by a nose to Fairyland. Going the right way and one of the more lively outsiders.
Forecasts
Pretty Pollyanna (6/4), Fairyland (6/1), So Perfect (6/1), Lady Kaya (13/2), Signora Cabello (7/1), Queen Of Bermuda (16/1), Angel's Hideaway (20/1), The Mackem Bullet (25/1), Gossamer Wings (25/1), Comedy (40/1), No Way Jose (66/1)
PRETTY POLLYANNA established herself as an exceptional two-year-old filly when winning the all sex Group One Prix Morny latest and that form is hard to get away from so she gets the nod. Signora Cabello's streak of four wins ended when losing out by ¾L to the selection but no doubt Frankie Dettori will have a plan to bridge the gap and she is again the biggest danger. Aidan O'Brien has won the last two renewals and he has two live contenders in So Perfect and Fairyland with slight preference for the latter although the two are closely matched.
- Pretty Pollyanna
- Signora Cabello
- So Perfect
