His Wood Ditton third last year worked out very nicely and would entitle him to an official rating in the mid 80s at least. Off since an effortless victory at Southwell in May 2017 and he has been gelded since.

Third to Fenaan and fourth to Willie John in his two starts as a juvenile and there is little wrong with those efforts. Stable have their horses going well after a difficult summer and this $1,300,000 yearling has held Group 1 entries.

Has shown some ability in his two starts but others have achieved a higher standard and he has been absent for three months.
Fetched 120,000 gns at the sales and is a brother to a Listed winner. On the evidence of his two starts to date he will need more time to fulfil connections ambitions.

Gelded half-brother to the 1m-1m2f Group 1 winner Hibaayeb. Looked green on his Newcastle debut but showed potential. The form is not as strong as others, but he does not carry any fitness doubts.

20,000 gns son of Kodiac related to four minor winners from 5f-1m. Slowly away on debut two weeks ago and hard to see him improving as much as will be required to score here.

Has not matched market expectations on either start and his response under pressure last time was disappointing. Possible the fast ground was a factor, but the winner has been beaten since and this is undoubtedly a stronger race.

Teofilo filly out of a dam who won from 1m-1m3f. Bought from Godolphin for just £2,000 in July and debuts for a new trainer who has caused a few surprises since taking out a license.

Raincall
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-11| J: Harry Bentley| T: H Candy
20/1
By Pivotal and the first foal of a Group 1 winning Australian sprinter. Trainer/jockey combination are 4-6 in the past five years and she is one to watch in the market.

Forecasts

Mark Of Approval (10/11), Alfarqad (5/2), Ring Dancer (6/1), Yajooll (10/1), Dyagilev (16/1), Raincall (20/1), Forbidden Planet (40/1), Peccary (50/1), Singing The Blues (66/1)

Verdict

Raincall has an appealing pedigree for a jockey/trainer combination with a 66% strike rate. Yajooll was disappointing under pressure last time but may do better switching to this surface. Alfarqad shaped with promise in two good races as a juvenile and makes a belated reappearance as does MARK OF APPROVAL. The selection's fitness will need to be taken on trust, but it is hard to get away from the value of his Wood Ditton debut last year and that form sets a high standard.
