Returned from an absence with two poor runs on the AW at the end of last year and no better in a couple of turf outings in the spring. Returns from another break with plenty to prove.
Not disgraced at Chelmsford on penultimate start, but ran poorly on turf last time, looking a difficult ride. May do better down in class and back on AW, but others more convincing.
Won a 7f handicap here in January and ran at least as well when second of 13 to Lukoutoldmakezebak over C&D the following month. Every chance if ready to go after a break, and booking of former champion is encouraging.
Showed plenty of ability in qualifying, but has proved very disappointing so far in handicaps. Dropping quite quickly in the weights, but needs to show more before she can be backed with confidence.
Modest handicapper these days, and produced best effort this season when neck second of 10 to Celtic Artisan at Wolverhampton last time. Sound claims if repeating that, for all he's not the most reliable.
Left Mark Johnston for £8,000 in November 2017 after steadily falling down the weights. Yet to achieve anything of note for current yard, and left alone as a result.
Rampant in 2015 when winning four times, but not the force of old, and left James Unett before belated return. Well held last time, but shaped better than the distance beaten suggests, and return to shorter may help her now.
Showed ability last year for David Barron, but soundly beaten on all three starts for current connections, and hard to see him making an impact despite a falling mark.
Well held in qualifying runs, but improved when 2¼L third of 15 to Topmeup in 1m handicap at Yarmouth last time. Helped by strong pace there, but unexposed and must be of interest again.
Ex-Godolphin gelding who had struggled to make any sort of impact since stepping into handicaps for Luke McJannet. Seemed to improve when fifth to Celtic Artisan at Wolverhampton for new yard last time, but that form may flatter him.
Remains a maiden after 19 starts, so not one to go overboard about, but ran his best race in some time when keeping-on third of 11 to Polyphony in a 7f handicap at Musselburgh last time. Every chance with a repeat.
Showed a modicum of promise in early outings, but has failed to beat a rival in three handicap starts this year, and can't get any lower in the weights.
Forecasts
Chosen World (3/1), Clary (5/1), Top Offer (6/1), Wasted Sunsets (6/1), Joyful Star (7/1), Foxrush Take Time (7/1), Amherst Rock (14/1), Sugar Coating (16/1), Black Hambleton (16/1), Royal Rattle (33/1), Royal Liberty (33/1), Ruby Cherub (100/1)
TOP OFFER isn't the most consistent, but he has won his share on this surface and should be competitive after a good second to Celtic Artisan at Wolverhampton. Joyful Star has been off since February, but was running well here when last seen and is respected assuming he's fit enough to do himself justice. Wasted Sunsets and Foxrush Take Time are others to consider in an open race.
