First-time visor did the trick when landing only win in Yarmouth mile selling handicap in July. Runner-up twice in similar company over 1m2f of late but drop back in trip not certain to suit. Has claims though.
Beaten a head in C&D seller in July before landing similar event at Thirsk a week later. Made favourite for better event at Catterick last time but was soon beaten and drops back to this level. Yard in form and should be thereabouts.
Landed 5f AW novice event last term but has done very little this season and has plumetted in the ratings, now 18lb lower than start of the campaign. Hard to fancy on recent evidence.
Yet to reach a place in six starts and blinkers failed to help in claiming company last time. First-time visor now tried but it will have to make a very big difference for him to land the spoils.
Ran well in two French maidens last term and started campaign rated 82. Down to 70 now having failed to shine although not disgraced on a couple of occasion in better company than today. Big chance on figures dropped in grade.
Disappointing Equiano gelding drops in grade here and wasn't disgraced in better event over C&D last time. Chance if putting his best foot forward in first-time blinkers.
Sold cheaply to join last year's winning yard after bursting blood vessel on her last start for Charles Hills. Has some form that suggests she could be a player if on form so no forlorn hope if she's taken to her new surroundings.
Showed some form for Rod Millman last year and went very close on penultimate start in non-selling handicap at Chepstow last month. Slow away and trailed in last at Ffos Las recently but on previous run should be thereabouts.
Only place in 10 starts came in classified event at Yarmouth in June when 50/1 third over a mile. Has run poorly since and faces a stiff task at the weights.
Third on turf at Lingfield penultimate start offers a little hope but ran no race over 6f at Wolverhampton last time. Needs to turn over a new leaf to figure on these terms and others make far more appeal.

Lamb Chop (11/4), Super Major (10/3), The Lamplighter (9/2), Towelrads Boy (8/1), Johni Boxit (9/1), United Kingdom (12/1), Bombshell Bay (12/1), Kodina (20/1), Misty Breese (25/1), Mostly Green (25/1), Pesky Wabbitt (28/1)
A race populated by disappointing horses, but a chance for UNITED KINGDOM to shine if he responds positively to the first-time blinkers. The Lamplighter could be a proper danger if reproducing one of his better efforts, while Super Major has run well before and scored in similar grade earlier this term. Bombshell Bay has won twice in non-selling company this term but has a little to find at the weights, while Kodina might be worth a glance representing last year's winning yard and making her debut for new connections.
- United Kingdom
- Super Major
- The Lamplighter
