Goes well on soft and both wins have been at this track. Reasonable effort at Doncaster last time after a break and this longer trip will suit. Could do much better today.
Sole turf win was on soft. Has run well in a couple of French claimers of late. Back in a handicap and still on a competitive mark. Not ruled out.
Both her wins have been earned on fast ground and she is unraced on soft. Held from this mark at Beverley last time. Not yet fully exposed, but will need some more improvement to win this.
0-7. Has gone close at both Ayr (1m2f, good) and Redcar (1m2f, good to soft) this season, the latter from this mark. Returns after wind surgery. If that enables him to repeat his best, or improve, he will be thereabouts.
Dual 1m winner on good to soft. Back in better form on his last two starts, including when 1½L fifth from 1lb higher here (1m3f, soft) last time. Each-way player.
Goes well here and with cut in the ground. Back on a handy mark, but well beaten in both starts this season and not easy to fancy at present.
Sole win was over 7f at Newcastle (AW) last year. Has not been able to get very competitive this season and despite another 6lb drop there is no denying he has a fair bit to prove.
Declared 2.30 Hamilton on Sunday. Ran well at Carlisle earlier in the month (1m, good to soft). Same mark in this race and if he takes his chance here he has each-way claims.
Sees out 1m2f and acts on soft. Well treated on the best of last year's form, but badly out of sorts this season. Others preferred.
1-32. Second in two of his last three Flat starts, including here over 1m4f. Not sure this drop in trip looks ideal, however.
Declared 5.10 Hamilton on Sunday. Has seen plenty of action at this track in recent months, without success. 1L fourth last time (1m3f, soft), from this mark. More needed.
Well beaten from 5lb higher on handicap debut last time. Still very early days, but also has plenty to prove, including on soft ground.

Forecasts
Edgar Allan Poe (9/2), Ideal Candy (5/1), Fleetfoot Jack (11/2), Flying Focus (13/2), Compass Hill (15/2), Zealous (8/1), Life Knowledge (10/1), Pullman Brown (12/1), Crazy Tornado (16/1), Blue Medici (20/1), Kit Marlowe (20/1), Bigdabog (33/1), Dark Crystal (40/1)
A moderate end to the card, where the suggestion is to side with FLEETFOOT JACK, who could bounce back now returning to this venue on soft ground. Compass Hill remains of interest, as does Ideal Candy. Blue Medici, Zealous and Edgar Allan Poe are others for whom cases can be made.
- Fleetfoot Jack
- Compass Hill
- Ideal Candy
