Rewarded for a string of consistent efforts when winning at Kempton (6f, AW) in a claimer last time. Life tougher back in a handicap but sure to run his race once again.
Was running well in the winter on the Fibresand at Southwell. Returned to action on the back of a break and wind surgery at Nottingham last time and looked badly in need of the run. Drawn wide and may need this run.
Not the most consistent of runners and has been struggling for from running over 1m of late. Starting to look dangerously well handicapped and this drop in trip is interesting. The draw has not been kind but market check needed.
Saves his best efforts for the AW and is on a fair mark. Not beaten all that far in a better race than this at Lingfield last time and should have pretty sound claims if able to build on that now.
Won well in final start in novice company at Southwell back in March. Slowly coming to hand in handicaps of late and best effort when a close third at Kempton (6f, AW) when only caught late on last time. Player if able to build on that now.
Twice a winner last year but has been unable to match that level of form this term. Dropping to an attractive mark and down in grade here it would be no surprise were he to bounce back to form.
Shown some promise in three starts in novice company. Lost all chance on handicap debut at Haydock last time when rearing as the stalls opened and used up too much petrol to get on terms. Should be capable of better.
Old boy that pops up from time to time, often when fresh. On a very good mark now but usual headgear missing. Absence is not a worry given his record fresh and market check needed.
A really consistent filly who only has one win to her name but alwasy runs her race having finished in the first three 11 times. Went down all guns blazing at Catterick (6f, good to firm) last time and is a major player off the same mark
C&D winner on debut but has not progressed from there and failed to beat a rival home on his first two handicap runs. Last effort was his stable debut after a year off so should be fitter now but improvement needed all the same.
Winner here over 5f off a 2lb lower mark back in April. Form has been a bit patchy since but a solid effort over 6f at WIndsor (good to firm) last time and a repeat of that would put him in the mix from a decent draw.
Tends to go well here and has four wins to his name at this venue. Not been in the best of form on the turf of late but return to this venue from a good draw could spark him back into life.
Previous C&D winner returned from a long absence to win at Brighton (6f, good to firm) back in May. Not in the same form at Windsor last time but can always forgive a poor run there and could now continue progress
Forecasts
Acrux (7/2), Big Brave Bob (7/2), Porchy Party (9/2), A Sure Welcome (11/2), Diamond Set (8/1), Super Florence (12/1), Kodiline (18/1), Big Time Maybe (25/1), Indian Affair (33/1), Titus Secret (33/1), Awsaaf (33/1), Razin' Hell (40/1), Johnny Cavagin (50/1)
Kodaline will be of interest dropped back in trip especially if strong in the market. Diamond Set and Big Brave Bob should both have further improvement in the locker and are respected. Slight preference is for SUPER FLORENCE who doesn't know how to run a bad race and deserves to get her head in front once again.
- Super Florence
- Kodiline
- Diamond Set
