Progression shown in the spring appears to have ground to a halt following heavy defeats at Tipperary and Listowel recently. Could be up against it here.

Forecasts

Burning Question (10/11), North Face (2/1), Tony The Gent (7/2), Chiavari (9/1), Drombeg Dream (10/1), Venetian Rock (10/1), So Long Marianne (12/1), Merited (50/1), Savitar (50/1), Santorini Sun (50/1)

Verdict

Facile 12L winner at the Listowel festival recently on soft to heavy ground, BURNING QUESTION can confirm her superiority and prove a difficult opponent with conditions in her favour here. The Aidan O'Brien colt North Face won on his only start at Navan earlier in the month and can prove the biggest danger if handling the heavy ground, while the gallant Tony The Gent can chase the pair home.
