Irish raider who won this last year and now unbeaten in two starts over this C&D. Will be better for recent run but now 7lb higher than last win and this will require more.

Just one win from 30 starts in all codes but was much better for latest stable when second at Catterick. Has to race off an 8lb higher mark on the AW and remains very inconsistent.

Hasn't shown enough in three starts to date and needs to find big improvement now going handicapping. Market support would be interesting but probably best watched.

Lost his way for Keith Dalgleish and tailed off on both starts for new stable. Beaten at halfway last time so easy to overlook.

Seemed to relish the fibresand with a strong win and still well weighted on his best form at just 4lb higher. Has won over this C&D so can be competitive again.

Better over hurdles last start but one win from 21 efforts on the Flat and needs to step up on recent form. Others make more appeal.

11-race maiden but ran his best when staying on well off a slow pace over this C&D in March. First run back following wind surgery and looks to have plenty more to offer.

Yet to win from 12 starts and didn't seem to stay over further here last time. Should be better suited by this trip but has looked better on soft ground on turf.

Former Sir Michael Stoute inmate and was rated in the high 70's in 2015. Showed a bit more promise when third at Wolverhampton three runs back but has failed to build on that since and others preferred.

Just two wins from 27 starts but ran much better when second over two miles on turf. Acts on this surface but may be better to wait till he's returned over further.

Unplaced in seven starts on turf and now makes AW debut. Tailed off on heavy at Carlisle and a fair bit to find on balance of form. First-time blinkers applied.

Well held in seven starts so far and didn't get home over further here last time. Hard to know what his best trip is and remains easy to oppose.

Age: 3|  Weight: 8-3| J: D Fentiman| T: P A Kirby| OR:  45

Yet to get in the money in eight starts and disappointing last time. Showed promise on previous visit here so worth a return to this surface and could have more to offer.

Forecasts

British Art (2/1), Highway Robber (7/1), Glasgon (7/1), Good Man (8/1), Alexis Carrington (10/1), Richard Strauss (12/1), New Britain (12/1), Stirling Value (14/1), Bromance (16/1), Sunhill Lad (20/1), Onda District (25/1), Jaycols Star (50/1), Tectonic (100/1)

Verdict

GOOD MAN represents a stable going well and really caught the eye running on out wide here when the slow early tempo was against him. He should be open to improvement following wind surgery and looks the one to beat. British Art goes well here but will find it tougher off his current mark to repeat last year's success in this race. Glasgon looks more attractively weighted after a good recent run while New Britain has more to offer on this surface.
  1. Good Man
  2. Glasgon
  3. New Britain
