Dual Goodwood winner earlier in the campaign ran well subsequently at Newmarket before struggling last twice back at Goodwood. This certainly easier but handicapper has him on a short leash at present.
Lightly raced five-year-old took his record to two from four latest when winning first turf race at Lingfield. Had another break since so clearly very hard to train but has to be of interest on handicap bow.
Useful dual winner as a two-year-old failed to fire in three starts early in the season but has had both wind surgery and a gelding operation since as well as getting first-time cheekpieces so plenty of potential reasons for improvement.
Gained first success for this yard over C&D latest when he travelled supremely well under today's jockey. Only raised 2lb for that and shouldn't be inconvenienced by likely quicker ground so rates a leading contender.
Raised 6lb for C&D win when he defeated Colonel Frank who won here next time up. Only 1lb worse off with that rival today so will be optimistic he can retain the ascendancy and looks a big player here.

Nobleman's Nest (5/2), Colonel Frank (3/1), Human Nature (7/2), Khamry (4/1), Sir Titan (11/2), Robero (14/1)
HUMAN NATURE and Colonel Frank are closely matched on their meeting here in August but with the latter winning since Stuart Williams charge is taken to come out on top with Colonel Frank only 1lb better off. Khamry is an intriguing contender and this expensive but seemingly fragile five-year-old could prove ahead of this opening handicap mark.
