Promise in novice events early last year but next to nothing since. Fallen a total of 24lb now from peak so sooner or later he ought to get competitive but hard to be confident.

Winner of a 7f Leicester seller in July and best effort since there latest when a close fourth over the same trip. Eased 2lb for that run so expecting him to go well today especially given he started slowly latest.

Steps up to 7f for the first time after finishing well in a Carlisle maiden and Ripon handicap when made favourite. This trip likely to make the difference soon enough and been saved for some cut in the ground.

Left Archie Watson for 7,000gns in October 2017, with a sole 6f Doncaster nursery win on the CV. Hasn't kicked on in 2018 and although she has potential off a tumbling handicap mark others bring more obvious claims.

Hurdles winner was placed twice over this trip in July before second at Perth back over hurdles. Shade disappointing on AW latest but no reason he can't compete here given decent form overall.

Unplaced in six starts this season and not won on turf since 2015. Would be competitive off this mark at the level of his AW success at Newcastle last season but leap of faith required overall.

Hit or miss type has won twice this year but seldom been competitive otherwise. Five starts now since his April success at Thirsk and form gradually getting worse. Can spring a surprise but hard to be confident.

Never sighted in three starts last season and the same story for new connections this year. Have to go back to 2016 to find any sort of performance of merit.

C&D winner last October (good to soft) and now 3lb lower after a barren run of 12 starts since, nine of them this season. More needed but this his lowest ever handicap.

18-race maiden hasn't made the frame since a third of eight at Hamilton in June. Chances at that level of form off this mark but seems to have steadily regressed since.

Beaten at least 12L in all of her five starts to date and last in most recent two. Seems to be of very limited ability.

Forecasts

Great Colaci (5/2), Polyphony (7/2), Dandys Denouement (6/1), Benjamin Thomas (6/1), Song Of Summer (9/1), Tember (9/1), Harbour Patrol (10/1), Intiwin (11/1), Foxrush Take Time (16/1), Let Right Be Done (18/1), Charava (25/1), Ruby Cherub (50/1)

Verdict

POLYPHONY has appeared to be crying out for a step up to 7f the last twice and this lightly raced filly can make full use of the extra furlong by scoring here. Tember looks like he is pretty well treated now after falling despite a decent run last time out. Great Colaci has plenty of form that would make him competitive here too.
