Good third at Newbury (7f, good-to-firm) on second start but disappointed on good-to-soft going subsequently. Likely to be better suited to the quicker ground forecast.
Made a winning debut in a novice contest over an extended 7f at Beverley (good) last month. One to note in this contest.
Unraced son of Camelot purchased for 22,000 gns as a yearling last October. Half-brother to a number of winners and worth a check in the market on debut.

Not beaten far when fourth on soft ground at Clairefontaine (1m) on his penultimate start. Held there subsequently and interesting to see how he fares.
Unraced son of Intikhab bought for £11,000 at the sales last autumn. Half-brother to three winners and market support would be notable on debut.
Beaten 12L when finishing seventh of nine in a 6f AW novice contest at Lingfield on debut earlier this month. Likely more needed upped in trip.
Unraced gelded son of Charm Spirit bought cheaply for 5,000 gns at the sales last year. Half-brother to useful 7f performer Moisson Precoce but probably best watched on debut.

Impressive 16L winner of a good ground 1m contest at Brighton last month. Finished runner-up in a handicap subsequently and likely to run well once more.

Forecasts

Rosamour (9/4), Eesha's Smile (3/1), Tribal Commander (4/1), Living Legend (7/1), Champion Brogie (8/1), Al Wafi (8/1), Charmed Spirit (12/1), Wayfaring Stranger (33/1)

Verdict

The opening race on the card can go to debut winner EESHA'S SMILE who can follow-up her Beverley victory with success in this novice contest. The selection looks capable of seeing off Rasamour who was a winner on her penultimate start while Al Wafi, placed at Newbury last month can put a disappointing latest effort behind him to finish third.
  1. Eesha's Smile
  2. Rosamour
  3. Al Wafi
