Typically for his trainer improved significantly from his debut when running on over 6f at Windsor. Likely to progress again but has been slowly away on both starts and the drop in trip is a a query.
Gelded son of Rip Van Winkle purchased for 32,000 gns at the sales last October. Showed little when a well beaten last on debut and needs to find massive improvement for the experience.
Cost £20,000 as a juvenile and a half-brother to AW winner Sophistica. Stable struggling for winners and best watched on debut,
Cost €14,000 foal, €16,000 yearling and £10,500 at two. Only moderate late headway in both starts to date and hard to fancy in this company and with the drop in trip.
Tailed off and green on debut so improved out of sight when third at Windsor. Showed plenty of pace to lead so this drop in trip and the ideal draw should suit.
By fast two-year-old Coach House and a half-brother to five winning sprinters. Showed promise on debut but needs to improve for stable yet to have a juvenile winner this season.
Moderate third on debut but failed to progress when tailed off at Chester. Hard to make a case for in this company.
Beaten favourite while showing promise on her first two starts and ran to a similar level on return from an absence when alongside Royal Dynasty at Ffos Las. Others may be open to more progress but likely to be competitive again.
Equiano filly, half-sister to three winners over further. Dam a juvenile sprint winner and half-sister to a 6f Group 2 winner. Yard's debutantes tend to need the run and best watched from wide draw. Has already had wind surgery.
Cost 22,000 gns as a foal reducing to 12,000 gns as a yearling. Well beaten on debut and remains easy to oppose.
Finished to good effect behind two previous winners on debut here but took too keen a hold next time when finishing alongside to Karalini. Open to improvement but wide draw a negative.
Daughter of Harbour Watch who is poorly drawn for this debut. Likely to need further in due course and trainer's runners tend to improve for the run.

Astronaut (9/4), Royal Dynasty (3/1), Reticent Angel (10/3), Michaels Choice (5/1), The Cruising Lord (8/1), Lille (10/1), Karalini (11/1), Quicksilver (20/1), Clipsham Tiger (20/1), Broughtons Flare (25/1), Drummer Jack (25/1), Tarthra Quay (66/1), Illegitimate Gains (100/1)
An interesting maiden to kick off the card where Karalini and Royal Dynasty are closely matched on their last run but both could be better drawn. Reticent Angel represents a stable with a strong record in this race but the better drawn MICHAELS CHOICE gets the verdict after showing pace and improvement at Windsor and may be hard to peg back. Astronaut is respected after also showing the benefit of his debut but the drop back in trip may not suit quite as much.
- Michaels Choice
- Reticent Angel
- Karalini
