One of the more exposed and least progressive in the lineup. Return to this trip is a positive but others make more appeal.

By Slade Power but gets stamina from the dam and worth a go at this trip given the way she finished here last time. Has since switched stables and new trainer has a knack of getting a bit extra from his acquisitions.

Took advantage of a wayward rival to land a seller at Catterick. Flattered there next time and again more recently at Newcastle.

Promised better to come when stepping up to this trip on penultimate start. Since beaten over shorter on AW debut and handicapper has given him a chance to bounce back.

Has had three runs over inadequate trips whilst learning her trade. Cumulatively they have earned her a modest opening mark for her nursery debut over a distance that should bring improvement. Check the market.

Sesame (13/8), Smashing Lass (9/4), Max Guevara (3/1), Be Proud (6/1), Kenoughty (8/1), Ireland's Angel (12/1)

Verdict

SESAME did not get the best of runs when beaten here last time and should again finish ahead of Be Proud with the extra yardage in her favour. Kenoughty would be a danger on his penultimate run and Ireland's Angel would have to be considered in this company if attracting support for her nursery debut. Smashing Lass has been holding her form well, but is vulnerable to an improving sort given her last three runs are flattering.
