Fourth foal, half-brother to the useful Raven's Lady (G2 winner in Germany, G3 at York) but yard just 8% with their 2yos here, and don't tend to have them wound up first time.
Third relatively quick run for this one, has run to a similar level both starts but it's not one that will be troubling the principals here. Needs this for a mark in nurseries, which is where he'll have a better chance.
Nathaniel colt that stepped up considerably from first run to second, doing some decent late work to run into third at Sandown (7f) last time, Step up to a mile should suit, likely to handle the soft ground and looks a contender here.
Australia colt that made a solid debut at Sandown when second to Beatboxer (won again next start) but well below that form back there last time when encountering some cut in the ground. That is a worry here, but chances if handling it.
100,000gns purchase as a yearling, related to a couple of winners and this trip should be suitable on debut. Yard continue to have a good time of it with their 2yos (had a debut winner here last week) and this one must be respected.
New Approach colt that's a half-brother to two winners and in good hands, but will be needing to step up considerably on his last-of-seven debut at Chelmsford where he looked green and in need of time. Early days, but others make more appeal here.
Gregorian filly that will be needing to step up considerably on her debut where she was well beaten at Thirsk, although the penny was dropping late on. Should do better here.
Forecasts
Fraser Island (9/4), Oak Park (5/2), Divine Gift (4/1), Buckman Tavern (6/1), Startego (10/1), Agravain (12/1), Crystal Tiara (50/1)
Only a few to concentrate on and unless the market speaks very strongly for Oak Park, then DIVINE GIFT is probably the one to be with after a good run at Sandown last time. A repeat of that could be good enough. With Fraser Island needing to prove himself on the ground, maybe Crystal Tiara can improve enough to get among the places.
