5/4
Has shown his strongest form over 6f, and is seemingly versatile in terms of ground conditions; runner-up (beaten 2½L) by He'Zanarab on good to soft at York on penultimate start (6f); live chance.

13/2
Disappointing when last in action at Newmarket in June, but there's every possibility that run came too quickly after her 6f Thirsk fillies' novice stakes win (good to firm); likely pace angle - track should suit.

Horse silk
100/1
€10,000 yearling; has started at big prices on both runs so far (6f at Redcar and Pontefract) and is yet to demonstrate any sign of ability.

Grey Appealv120
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: Jason Hart| T: J & S Quinn
25/1
26,000gns juvenile; 10/1 when slowly away and always in rear on debut at Carlisle (6f maiden, good to soft) last month; considerably more required with visor fitted; stablemate of Moonlight Escapade.

(3)
Horse silk
22/1
Unraced first foal out of a 5f maiden dam, so is bred to be fairly speedy; trainer also responsible for Grey Appeal; market helpful.

Horse silk
66/1
£28,000 yearling; never able to get competitive on debut at Thirsk (7f, soft) last month when finishing ninth of ten (20/1) to Stronsay; dropped in trip for second start.

(2)
Horse silk
125/1
Fifth foal out of an unraced dam (Agooda); sister to 7f juvenile/1m2f winner Agadoo; others far more likely candidates.
€4,500 yearling; ninth foal; sister to a 6f winner, and a half-sister to four winners including Zain Shamardal (1m-1m2f); stablemate of Rainbow Beach.

Horse silk
7/2
Nearest at the finish (beaten 6L) when finishing fifth of 14 to Glass Slippers in a 5f fillies' novice at Beverley (good to firm) last month; sister to 5f winner Roundhay Park; likely to prove stronger in the market than on debut (100/1).
10
(5)
Horse silk
100/1
4,000gns yearling; no promise in either start so far (Thirsk, 7f soft/Redcar, 6f good); trainer also saddles the newcomer Lady Mayhem.

Royal Destiny36
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: P Hanagan| T: R A Fahey
3/1
Ran to a similar level of form on both starts so far, but a repeat of either of those efforts could prove good enough; 3¼L runner-up to Evie Speed at Ripon (6f good) latest; half-sister to six winners (5f-7f).

Supreme Dream22
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: A Mullen| T: Ollie Pears
150/1
Well beaten last of eleven (150/1) on debut at Thirsk (6f good to soft) last month, so tough to enthuse over on the basis of that form.

Forecasts

Prince Elzaam (5/4), Royal Destiny (3/1), No Bills (7/2), Beechwood Izzy (13/2), Moonlight Escapade (22/1), Grey Appeal (25/1), Lady Mayhem (33/1), Separable (66/1), Dragons Will Rise (100/1), Rainbow Beach (100/1), Dance Mover (125/1), Supreme Dream (150/1)

Verdict

A race which features any number of limited looking juveniles, with the list of likely winners only making three to four horses at best. Royal Destiny looks certain to be competitive for the Fahey/Hanagan partnership. She is a speedy sort on pedigree (most of her relations are 5f-6f winners), so this sharp track could prove ideal. Beechwood Izzy returns from a break after a disappointing effort, but could bounce back, whilst No Bills isn't without some hope despite being friendless in the market (100/1) on debut. However, the top-weight PRINCE ELZAAM is feasibly a cut above these rivals; versatile in terms of ground conditions, he rates as a fairly obvious pick.
  1. Prince Elzaam
  2. Royal Destiny
  3. Beechwood Izzy
