Disappointing form over the larger obstacles in three starts since July. First time blinkers less likely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here.
Ran well to finish third of 13 beaten 2L in a Bellewstown handicap hurdle before heavy defeats at Kilbeggan and Down Royal last month temper any possible interest.
Poor 84-rated hurdler who is without a win or a place in four career starts over the larger obstacles.
Finally got off the mark under rules winning a Clonmel beginners chase at the 14th time of asking in June. Well held on return to handicap contests off a 9lb higher mark and may find it a struggle here.
Yet to win over fences in 11 starts and hasn't looked like changing that statistic of late. Set for a minor role once more.
Winner of two of his 15 chase starts both successes coming over the summer. Beaten since but his second of 16 beaten 4½L behind Cantkidakidder is solid form.
C&D winner over 12-months ago off a similar mark. Generally well held over a variety of trips since but worth a market check with conditions to suit.
Well down the field in two career chase starts to date. First time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
C&D winner here in June off a 7lb lower mark beating 13 rivals 1L with the improving Cantkidakidder in second. Not getting any younger and extra weight no help right now.
Has produced a couple of consistent performances recently at Roscommon and in a Tramore handicap chase over 2m6f beaten in to third. Age catching up with the mare but solid place claims all the same.
Modest 90-rated handicap hurdler with a low rating of 54 on the Flat. Not seen over a fence for 21-months and impossible to fancy.
Nothing of note in a number of below-par displays over fences last month. Will need to raise overall performance to play a role here.
Finished 13th of 16 beaten 53L on first start since April. Requires a chunk of improvement to play a role here.
First Reserve: Not disgraced but generally well held in a number of handicap chases' since winning a Downpatrick contest in March. Will need to improve to figure.

The Scorpion gelding BLACK JEWEL finished fifth of 14 in this contest 12-months ago and can build on some promising performances of late including a career best when second of 16 beaten ½L in a Tipperary handicap chase in July off a 2lb lower mark. The eight-year-old can land the spoils in the closer here fighting off the advances of solid veteran, Naughty Molly, C&D winner Roevin Star and Double Windsor with his second of 16 beaten 4½L behind Cantkidakidder to be noted.
