Last win came at this time last year and has dropped significantly in the handicap since. Better last twice and further 2lb drop makes him well handicapped but he didn't convince in the finish at Newmarket.
Twice a C&D winner and in good form off a winnable mark with three places in a row. At his very best when second in a good race at Thirsk and apprentice rode a winner for this stable last month. Should go close again.
Disqualified after winning a Class 2 7f handicap at Chester in June and would be dangerous if returning to that level. However well held in last three starts including back in this grade and others look more convincing.
Has enjoyed a fine campaign having never been out of the first four in nine starts including four wins (two over the C&D). All those successes came in a grade lower but likely to be involved again.
Paid the price with the handicapper for a fine run of form earlier this season and despite 2lb ease, still looks on a mark too high. Has never raced over a distance this far.
Just three wins from 49 starts and all came over the 6f at Ayr. Better run last time but remains inconsistent and a touch high in the weights at present.
Ran a good second on stable debut but mainly raced on AW surface nowadays and more recent turf runs haven't been convincing. On a decent mark but others preferred in these conditions.

Our Charlie Brown (11/10), Jacob Black (10/3), Explain (13/2), Viscount Loftus (10/1), Dark Profit (10/1), Mutabaahy (11/1), Gabrial The Tiger (12/1), Newstead Abbey (16/1), Jessie Allan (18/1), Tavener (20/1)
Jacob Black has enjoyed a remarkably consistent year and loves this C&D and while his wins have come at a lesser level it's hard to see him not being involved. OUR CHARLIE BROWN is also well suited by these conditions and off this mark and with his rider's claims, he can gain another win at this track. Explain would appreciate any rain and can be competitive again.
