Just modest form in three starts but is a half-sister to a French Derby winner and has plenty of stamina in her pedigree for this significant step up in trip. Improvement required on handicap debut but not out of the question.
Has failed to progress from his early form and well held in three handicap starts. Remains one to oppose up in trip.
Little promise in five starts so far and tailed off in two handicaps. First-time blinkers added and needs to find huge improvement. Stable also run Mi Capricho.
Farrh filly who has shown improvement in three starts and enjoyed step up to this sort of trip at Catterick. Looks on an attractive mark on handicap debut.
Has found improvement in two handicaps when winning over shorter at Wolverhampton and when stepped up in trip off 8lb higher at Thirsk. Unlikely to have stopped progressing and looks a contender.
11-race maiden who has generally found life tough in handicaps. Stamina in pedigree for this step up in distance but plenty to find once again.
Has kicked on in three starts for current yard and appreciated the step up to this distance when winning at Hamilton and a narrow runner-up over this C&D. Up another 1lb but improving and looks the one to beat.
Yet to get in the money in seven starts but has shown improvement the last twice. Needs to settle better but once he does he should make his presence felt at this level.
Unplaced in eight starts in Ireland and generally poor form aside from a fourth at Navan in June. Would be competitive on that but it is just one run and likely best watched on British debut.
Forecasts
Don't Do It (5/2), Pammi (11/4), Aphaea (10/3), Makawee (6/1), Joie De Vivre (14/1), New Britain (18/1), Se You (28/1), Mi Capricho (50/1), Gallus (50/1)
Aphaea is an improving filly and remains one to stay on the right side of at this level while Makawee could find plenty more off this mark on her first run in a handicap. Likewise Joie De Vivre makes her handicap debut and market support would be significant on this step up in distance. Preference though is for the improving PAMMI who has really taken to this trip and is progressing for her new trainer.
- Pammi
- Aphaea
- Makawee
