Winner over this sort of trip at Wexford in a beginners chase in early July, looked shorn of pace here since over 2m4f but could have bigger say now upped in distance again.

Yet to win in eight starts over fences and run as many poor races as good ones. Runner-up over 2m6f here in July in beginners chase and will enter the picture if replicating that run now.

Heavy ground beginners' chase winner here over 2m5f in December at Tramore but has fallen in two of three starts over these obstacles since and hard to make a case for currently.

Forecasts

Freewheelin Dylan (7/2), Templemore Dream (4/1), Oathkeeper (9/2), Adimelo (6/1), Kamil (7/1), A Sizing Network (7/1), Full Cry (10/1), Carlitos Bay (12/1), Cecil Corbett (20/1), Ardera Cross (33/1), Stonehall Jack (33/1)

Verdict

KAMIL won a maiden hurdle at Limerick in July and doubled up on his first outing over fences at Ballinrobe recently. He didn’t jump perfecting but this longer trip should afford him plenty time to get things right and Noel Meade's charge is likely the one to beat on handicap bow. Adimelo, a winner at Wexford in June, has been shy of pace since and this longer trip should help him while Carlitos Bay, pulled up over hurdles at Limerick in July, can play a hand here with a repeat of second at Wexford over fences the previous month. Freewheelin Dylan won over C&D a fortnight ago and has to be considered now off 5lb higher.
