Went close on Rules debut in bumper last year but has looked no great shakes in four starts over hurdles and needs to find more to figure on first start over these obstacles.
Winner of one of his seven starts over hurdles and closely related to chase winners Ucello Conti and the Noel Meade-trained Disko. Third behind promising Gigginstown sort Kamil (runs earlier on this card) on chase bow, should improve.
Lightly and intermittent racer, a seven-race maiden over hurdles but beat all bar the odds-on jolly home on chase bow at Downpatrick recently and entitled to claims on that showing.
French import cost leading connections €55,000 as a three-year-old won his maiden hurdle at the fourth time of asking here in the spring. Close second in both starts over fences, in the mix again if seeing out this longer yardage.
Won a 2m handicap hurdle around here in June off a mark of 104, run fairly consistently on the Flat and over timber since, has some potential going chasing for the first time.
Rallied well in the closing stages on a promising chase debut at Clonmel in June before disappointing in a 2m4f Tramore novice chase in July. Again disappointing since at Ballinrobe and likely a few of these hold better credentials.
Plenty to like in three chase starts so far, going best in middle outing when runner-up over 2m4½f at Tipperary. Appeared to be finding 2m6f at Tramore plenty tough when unseating rider last month. Stamina to be prove after that mishap.
An 11-race maiden over hurdles and the same return on the Flat, well beaten off on chase bow at Ballinrobe recently, form that gives him work to do with Ballybrowney Jack now.
Fair start when fourth on chase bow at Ballinrobe 10 days ago, but Ballybrowney Jack in third spot was some 18L in front of him and the form will likely stand the test here.
Handicap hurdle winner at Tramore (2m, good) in June then made promising start to chasing career at Limerick (2m2f, good) when runner-up in July. Since trailed home at Galway but not to be written off in haste.
Not fluent on chasing debut over 2m4f here beginners contest over 2m4f on soft ground in May, finishing ninth of 14. Fell next time at Clonmel and only nominal improvement since at Tramore, watching brief adopted for now.
Lightly-raced in UK for Nicky Henderson, winning a 2m3f novice hurdle at Taunton in February after a 334-day layoff and wind surgery. Didn't progress in two further starts for the yard and goes chasing on first start for new handler. Worth a look.
Modest 116-rated hurdler who has finished runner-up in two of her seven chase starts, likely to have claims on minor money at best in this event.
Finished 5L third of eight over C&D on chasing debut early last month, didn't build on that since Tramore over 2m6f and while return to this track and trip may assist, this looks a stronger event on paper.

Crezic is respected having gone close in both chase starts to date but he hasn’t appeared the most straightforward customer and will need to be on his best behaviour. Ex-Nicky Henderson winning hurdler Big Robin needs a good look on chase bow for these new connections while Celebrity Status chased home an odds-on jolly at Downpatrick in his first start over fences. Ballybrowney Jack also made late progress behind a useful-looking winner last time but GOLDEN POET has already won a bumper and a hurdles race here, and might complete the set if taking to this game.
- Golden Poet
- Ballybrowney Jack
