Dual 1m winner for Roger Varian, but only beaten one rival on both starts for current yard, although not beaten far on first occasion at Ayr in June.
Hard to win with (sole win came in April 2016), but very well handicapped on last season's form. Disappointing this year, but freshened up since last run in June, and capable of going well after a break.
Had been shaping well before scoring at York in June. Mixed bag since, but back to form when ¾L third of 9 to Racemaker at Redcar last time, and claims if building on that.
Losing run stretches 14 runs since last August, but plenty of good efforts in defeat in that time, and didn't get a clear run when 2¾L fourth of 14 to Start Time at Thirsk (7f) last time. Shouldn't be far away.
Slipping to a favourable mark but has been largely disappointing this season and opposable for all she showed a bit more at Ripon last time.
Had slipped markedly in weights before winning at Newmarket in July, and made all to win by a wide margin at Chepstow for latest success. 10lb rise fair on balance, but asks a sterner question up in class.
Two wins at Ayr last October on soft and heavy ground, but has run poorly so far this term, and no sign of a revival at that track on latest outing.
Had been running respectably without winning prior to drop to 6f at Hamilton last time. Ran poorly there, even considering trip was an issue, and he must bounce back now.
Cost 30,000 gns from Brian Meehan in the Autumn, and won at Newcastle in February for new yard. Well below that form in two subsequent starts, though, and returns from a long break now.
Won at Chester last August and had a breathing op prior to his return. Second at Wolverhampton last month is a standout effort in four runs this season, and hard to support after running poorly at Chelmsford last time.
Sole success came on soft ground over C&D in April, and ran to a similar level in defeat on next two starts. Found drop to 7f against him last time at Galway, and better expected now.
Much her best effort to date when winning a soft-ground novice over C&D in April, but disappointed after a break at Yarmouth last time, albeit on faster ground. Remains with potential.
Experienced campaigner on the Flat and over hurdles, but below form in cheekpieces in either sphere of late, and gets a belated first try in blinkers now.
Not disgraced in qualifying runs over shorter, but rather disappointing that he couldn't find any improvement on handicap debut over this trip on AW, and needs to up his game now.
Forecasts
Mon Beau Visage (5/1), Woody Bay (6/1), Sinfonietta (6/1), Zoffalee (17/2), Parys Mountain (9/1), Fondest (10/1), Moxy Mares (10/1), Seduce Me (10/1), Pilot Wings (10/1), Strong Steps (16/1), Tiercel (25/1), International Law (28/1), Cornborough (33/1), Jay Kay (40/1)
The form of her win here in April has worked out well, and Fondest may be well treated as a result, but she does have a bit to prove after finishing last at Yarmouth on her return from a break, and is passed over in favour of MOXY MARES, who will appreciate the return to 1m after Galway, and who is also proven here. Mon Beau Visage is on a lengthy losing run, but regularly performs with credit, and should not be far away.
