Things have not gone his way since joining this yard and beaten a long way on return from a break at Market Rasen last time. Should strip fitter for that run and is starting to look attractively handicapped but plenty more needed.

Finally put the pieces of the jigsaw together when winning at Newton Abbot back in July. Unseated rider when beaten in s lightly higher grade next time. Probably vulnerable off this mark now.

Wasn't running too badly off slightly higher marks when last seen back in February 2017. Clearly had some problems and very likely to need this run on return.

Handicap mark is falling following some moderate efforts last autumn. Making his seasonal debut and market support would be interesting on this occasion.

Age: 4|  Weight: 11-10| J: J M Quinlan| T: N P Littmoden| OR:  98

Maiden over hurdles who has had a couple of unsuccessful spins on the flat of late. Still has a little potential in this sphere so market check needed.
6
Horse silk
Field Exhibition37
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-9| J: R Johnson| T: Christian Williams| OR:  96| D
7/2
Only one win in 24 starts which came over fences at Worcester in July. Struggled in two subsequent runs but has a slightly lower mark over hurdles so is capable of getting involved if translating the form of that recent win to timber.
7
Horse silk
City Never Sleepst1538
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-8| J: Andrew Tinkler| T: M Keighley| OR:  95
25/1
Ran his best race over hurdles so far when last seen at Towcester way back in March 2017. Clearly had plenty of problems since but returns off a lower mark with tongue-tie added and market should be checked.

Horse silk
Murchison River72
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-6| J: Jonathan England| T: S England| OR:  94
12/1
Average performer on the flat but did win over 1m4f. Has been getting outpaced over shorter in three starts over hurdles so far. This step up in trip should suit and capable of showing much more now he makes handicap debut.

Mariners Moonh,t16
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-1| J: James Bowen| T: Mrs Caroline Bailey| OR:  88
14/1
Only won once in his career and consistency is certainly not a strong attribute. Tongue-tie is added tot he hood here and needs to put best foot forward to have a serious chance.
10
Horse silk
Tingo In The Talep34
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-8| J: Edward Austin(7)| T: A Forbes| OR:  81
14/1
Had shown some improved form over hurdles earlier in the summer having run his best race so far at Uttoxeter in July. Ran poorly back on the flat at Nottingham last time however and hard to know what to expect now.
11
Horse silk
Ring Eye52
Age: 10|  Weight: 10-6| J: Charlie Hammond(5)| T: S-J Davies| OR:  79| BF
15/2
Ran best race for a couple of years when narrowly outpointed here over 3m in June. Couldn't back that up having been raised in the weights next time and has questions to answer now dropping back in trip.
12
Horse silk
Rock N'stonesv31
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-0| J: Joe Williamson(7)| T: G Boanas| OR:  69
40/1
Still a maiden after 25 starts under rules and hard to enthuse on his strike rate improving here. Races from out the weights and up against it.

Forecasts

Field Exhibition (7/2), Free Bounty (11/2), Figeac (7/1), Ring Eye (15/2), Discay (8/1), Nicely Indeed (11/1), Murchison River (12/1), Mariners Moon (14/1), Tingo In The Tale (14/1), Love The Leader (16/1), City Never Sleeps (25/1), Rock N'stones (40/1)

Verdict

Field Exhibition should be capable of going close off this lower mark over hurdles with Richard Johnson aboard and is respected. MURCHISON RIVER has been getting outpaced over shorter and makes plenty of appeal now he tackles a longer trip on handicap debut. Nicely Indeed has fallen to a nice mark and any market support for him should be noted.
  1. Murchison River
  2. Field Exhibition
  3. Nicely Indeed
