3/1
Improved when second on handicap debut at Kempton, and produced another career best when winning gamely over this trip at Leicester on latest start. Going the right way, and not set too taxing a test here.

Roland Rocks19
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-7| J: L Morris| T: J Ryan| OR:  70
4/1
Promising two-year-old form hasn't been replicated this term, with connections experimenting with a variety of trips. No sign of a revival at Newmarket last time, but drops further down the ladder here.

Our Man In Havana24
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-5| J: Finley Marsh(5)| T: R J Price| OR:  68| D
3/1
Struggling to make a major impact in handicaps of late, including when sixth of 7 back on turf at Leicester last time. Good claimer booked, but has questions to answer on recent form.

Isabella Mayson107
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-0| J: Fran Berry| T: W S Kittow| OR:  63
14/1
Best effort this season when fourth in the mud at Chepstow in May, but ran poorly on quicker ground at Leicester last time, and makes limited appeal from a mark which remains on the high side.

Cent Flyingt12
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-12| J: M Dwyer| T: W R Muir| OR:  61| D
5/1
Registered first win on his reappearance at Bath (5½f, good) in May, and back to form down in grade when scoring all out at Brighton last month. Not at best since, but respected on balance of form.

Papelaine20
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-10| J: David Egan| T: Eve Johnson Houghton| OR:  59
9/2
Has a rather uninspiring record, but produced her best effort to date when 1¾L fourth of 7 to Teenage Gal in 7f handicap at Chepstow last time. Must show she can build on that.

Give Em A Clumpb2
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-7| J: N Mackay| T: P D Evans| OR:  56| CD
12/1
Inconsistent, but bounced back to form when second over 5f here late last month, and had excuses when below best over C&D on Monday after a slow start. Not dismissed.

Forecasts

Capla Demon (3/1), Our Man In Havana (3/1), Roland Rocks (4/1), Papelaine (9/2), Cent Flying (5/1), Shovel It On (8/1), Give Em A Clump (12/1), Isabella Mayson (14/1)

Verdict

Not many make much appeal, and the improving CAPLA DEMON is taken to defy top weight after breaking his duck in gritty fashion at Leicester. Cent Flying is more reliable than most, and can give the selection most to do, although Give Em A Clump wasn't disgraced after a slow start here on Monday, and could go well assuming he can start on terms.
  1. Capla Demon
  2. Cent Flying
  3. Give Em A Clump
