Off the mark at the 10th attempt at Sandown towards the end of last year and returned with a win at Chepstow. Ran okay here in between a pair of disappointing efforts subsequently and not without place claims back down at this trip.
Sole turf win from 34 runs came in 2015 and he's been tailed off on each of his last four starts. Can be slowly away and he has plenty to prove here.
Inconsistent performer and all his best form has come with more cut in the ground than what is likely here. Well beaten at Salisbury on his latest start and others make more appeal.
Still a maiden after eight starts and has shown nothing in two starts for this yard, tailed off on both starts. Tries the first-time visor first-time tongue-tie combination.
Losing run starting to mount up now but handicap mark is falling as a result and yard have hit some form in recent weeks, though his best form has come with more cut in the ground than what is likely here.
Won at Chepstow on his first start of the campaign but that's his sole win in 14 starts and he's failed to build on the success in subsequent outings. Has a bit to prove in first-time hood.
Yet to win in 20 starts but she's been getting closer on recent outings and may have found a handicap mark she can get competitive off. Has run well on firm ground before and from higher marks than this so she ought to run well.
Last win came in 2013 and he's more effective on turf than AW. Ran okay when last seen at this course and may be able to grab a place if he can reproduce his recent Lingfield second.
Just one win in 18 starts but that did come over C&D and returns below that winning mark here. Not seen to best effect at Lingfield last time but he's better than that and he ran well when placed here in June.
Yet to win in 16 starts and his seasonal return was devoid of any encouragement when tailed off at Windsor. Others preferred.
C&D winner here just over a year ago but his form has gone backwards since. Ran with some promise at Brighton last month and yard are flying at present so bounce back potentially on the cards here.
Forecasts
Delirium (9/2), Altaira (11/2), Greenview Paradise (11/2), Edge (11/2), Mamnoon (11/2), Let Me In (10/1), Eben Dubai (11/1), Frantical (12/1), Tally's Son (16/1), Jack Of Diamonds (20/1), Upended (50/1)
It might be worth taking a chance on ALTAIRA who has course and distance form to his name and runs off bottom weight for a yard in flying form in recent weeks. Greenview Paradise may still be a maiden but she's run well here before and can't be discounted while Momnoon is another course and distance winner who ran okay here in June.
- Altaira
- Greenview Paradise
- Mamnoon
