Won a listed race over C&D in 2016, and ran well at Newbury on his return. Excuses when meeting trouble there next time, and has since left Ed Dunlop. New yard does well with similar types.
Improved to win twice over C&D, including in listed company in first half of the year, but has struggled more recently, finishing down the field in the Stewards' Cup last time.
Gained latest win on return at Thirsk in May, and back to form when 1¾ lengths second of 4 to Tarboosh in minor event at Nottingham last time, albeit no match for the winner. Others look better treated now.
Goodwood specialist who was better than ever in the spring, and finished second in the Dash at Epsom in June. Given a break afterwards, and hasn't fired in three starts since the end of July.
Has improved since joining current yard from Ireland, winning at Beverley in April and stepping up on that to land 15-runner handicap at Hamilton following month. Has an absence to defy, but remains on a feasible mark, and top rider booked.
Won a C&D novice last summer, but form this season has a patchy look, a good second at Chester in May flanked by lesser efforts. Needs to improve even on her best form now.
Prolific in 2017, and bounced back to form after a break when second in a 5f handicap at Carlisle recently on soft ground. That came at a lower level, though, and she's not certain to back it up given this year's patchy record.
Back in the groove at Salisbury in June, and should have followed up over C&D next time, but idled winning chance away. Ran poorly last time, but capable of bouncing back if in the mood.
In rich vein of form right now, following a win at Ffos Las with solid efforts in defeat the last twice. On a good mark still, although not easy up in class from wide draw.
Running well on turf this season, and not far off his best when winning at Salisbury last time. Fairly treated on pick of his old form, but tends to do his winning at a slightly lower level.
Not beaten far on return over 5f at Windsor, but that form hasn't worked out and he has struggled to make a major impact on more recent starts, with a tongue tie tried without success. Slipping in the weights, but remains opposable.
Had been knocking on the door prior to gaining his seventh career win at Newmarket last month with cheekpieces on for the second time. Remains well treated on last season's form despite a 4lb rise, and merits respect. Engaged 2:10 Sandown Friday.
Best effort this season when scoring over 5f at Epsom in April in this headgear, and belatedly back to form at the same track on Monday. Not certain to be as effective here, with wide draw to contend with.
Decidedly mixed form in a busy campaign, but he has fallen a fair way in the weights, and definite signs on his last three starts that he might be able to capitalise on that. Not taken lightly.

Rapid Applause (6/1), Bahamian Sunrise (7/1), Global Applause (15/2), Intense Romance (8/1), Haddaf (8/1), Jashma (17/2), Signore Piccolo (12/1), Shamshon (12/1), Soie D'leau (12/1), Rio Ronaldo (14/1), Compas Scoobie (14/1), May Remain (16/1), Looks A Million (25/1), Pettochside (25/1)
RAPID APPLAUSE has been a revelation since joining Mick Easterby, should be ideally suited by the demands of this track, and still looks on a very fair mark as he bids for a hat-trick. Global Applause normally plies his trade at a higher level, and is interesting on his debut for Robert Cowell having dropped in the weights, and Compas Scoobie has strung together three good efforts of late, so should be in the mix despite being 1lb wrong at the weights.
- Rapid Applause
- Global Applause
- Compas Scoobie
