500,000 gns yearling by Australia out of 1000 Guineas fourth Sent From Heaven. Kept on late when 3¼L fourth of 6 to Production on debut at Ascot last month, and sure to improve.
Noble Mission half-brother to fair 7f winner Secret Insider. Not one of top yard's leading on pedigree, but still worth a market check given connections.

Grand-dam a listed winning daughter of 1000 Guineas third Coup de Genie, from family of Machiavellian, and this son of Maxios is entered in the Royal Lodge Stakes, so ticks the right boxes for top yard. Shortlisted.

Has rather a modest pedigree, and finished last of all on recent debut at Windsor.

60,000 gns son of Siyouni, the first produce of a juvenile 6½f winner. In good hands, and market will be a reliable guide to his chances.

Nathaniel half-brother to connections' useful 1m-1m2f winner Mia Tesoro. Showed up well for a long way on debut over C&D, but well held in the end, and likely to need time and distance.

Looked backward but wasn't disgraced when 11th of 18 in 7f Newbury maiden last month, so disappointing that he couldn't build on that at Lingfield last time. Needs this for a handicap mark.
Zoffany half-brother to useful 1m-1¼m winner Weetles, and sales price almost doubled to 130,000 gns as a yearling. Yard's runners tend to need initial experience more than most, however.
Blew the start on debut at Wolverhampton, and fared better when fourth of 9 at Doncaster last time. No threat there, however, and handicaps beckon after this outing.

Half-brother to a couple of 2-y-o 1m winners, although by an influence for speed in Swiss Spirit. Yard's sole juvenile winner in 2018 came in a nursery.

Forecasts

Almania (10/11), Coup De Gold (3/1), Buffalo River (6/1), Pegasus Bridge (10/1), Dawn Treader (16/1), Divine Gift (20/1), Millions Memories (25/1), Goodwood Sonnet (33/1), Dancing Jo (50/1), Swiss Cheer (66/1)

Verdict

A son of Guineas and Derby hero Australia, ALMANIA looked a certain future winner at Ascot last month, and has been found a good opening here. Coup de Gold is well-related as well as well entered up, and makes by far the most appeal of the newcomers, although Dawn Treader and Buffalo River come from likely sources, and need a market check.
  1. Almania
  2. Coup De Gold
  3. Dawn Treader
