British-raider won on a couple of occasions at three. Last seen finishing fourth of 16 in a 7f Group 3 contest at Glorious Goodwood. Looks a progressive type and shortlisted here.
Produced a career-best when winning 10-runner handicap at the Curragh over 7f. Largely well held since in a couple of Listed events. Looks opposable at Group level.
Winner of a 7f Gowran Park handicap in May but has been generally well held since tried at a higher level. Yard in good form and worth a market check.
Second of seven beaten a neck in a 1m handicap at the Curragh last month but appeared over-whelmed when stepped up to Listed level last time out. Plenty to prove at present.
British-raider winner of the Group 3 Fred Darling at Newbury in April. Beaten at a higher level since but well worth a check in the market back in this grade.
Winner of the Group 3 Athasi stakes at Naas on good to yielding ground in May. Finished only 5L adrift of the mighty Alpha Centauri in the Group 1 Irish 1,000 Guineas and can make a bold bid here.
Not disgraced earlier in the season at the Curragh in the Irish 1,000 guineas or at Royal Ascot behind Expert Eye. Likable type and should be in the mix.
Doesn't appear to be progressing as needed and first time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Winner of the Listed Ruby stakes at Killarney earlier this month but will need to step up her progression once again here.
Solid and consistent filly who gives her all but is always liable to bump in to one of two progressing at a quicker rate.
Winner last time out of a 6f Listed contest at Naas last month. Remains open to improvement but appears up against here.
Filly who got off the mark at the sixth time of asking for connections in a 1m maiden at Killarney earlier in the month. Plenty more needed in this company.
Improving sort who was only 4¾L adrift of Alpha Centauri in the Irish 1,000 guineas in May before landing a Listed contest at the Galway festival this month. Entitled to make the shortlist here.
Forecasts
I Can Fly (2/1), One Master (9/2), Could It Be Love (13/2), Yulong Gold Fairy (7/1), Lightening Quick (8/1), Dan's Dream (10/1), Ship Of Dreams (16/1), Sometimesadiamond (25/1), Petticoat (25/1), Sorelle Delle Rose (33/1), Damselfly (50/1), Vivianite (50/1), Surrounding (50/1)
The Dermot Weld pair Sorelle Delle Rose and YULONG GOLD FAIRY require closer inspection given the trainers record in this contest. The selection was only 4¾L adrift of Alpha Centauri in the Irish 1,000 guineas in May before landing a Listed contest at the Galway festival this month and appears to be progressing at the required rate. Aiden O'Brien pair I Can Fly and Could It Be Love look the pick of the rest.
- Yulong Gold Fairy
