Scat Daddy filly, cost $150,000 as a yearling and €200,000 as a Breeze-up purchase. Will be expected to improve on dismal debut at Leopardstown earlier this month.
Filly by Ravens Pass out of a Mark Of Esteem mare. Half-sister to handy sorts Riven Light and Group 2 winning handicapper in Australia Big Duke. Market likely to be best guide.
Daughter of Australia out of a Nashwan mare. Half-sister to recent runners-up Bangkok at Newmarket and War Eagle at Epsom on Tuesday.
Galileo filly, dam a Group 3 winning as a juvenile over C&D. Well held in a couple of starts to date but can be expected to improve.
Galileo filly out of a Danehill mare. Closely related to Frankel, Order Of St George and recent Newmarket winner Nayef Road. Leading player.
Home-bred filly by Dream Ahead out of a Galileo mare. Half-sister to handy sorts Donjuan Triumphant and Group 1 winning colt Al Wukair. Market likely to reveal expectations.
Havana Gold filly and a half-sister to winner Sirius Shine. Never nearer sixth of 12 beaten over 6L on debut in a Leopardstown 6f maiden before another one pace effort at the Galway festival last month. Capable of running a big race.
Tamayuz filly half-sister to Greek 1m winner Menode. Dam half-sister to Derby and Arc winner Workforce. Sixth of seven in disappointing debut at Fairyhouse last month but better expected here.
Home-bred New Approach filly out of a mare who won twice from 16 starts. Nothing of note in a couple of career spins to date and looks a tall order here.
Zebedee filly out of an unraced mare, and half-sister to 1m½f winner Marmalade N Toast. Well down the field on debut at the Curragh earlier this month. Looks a long-term prospect.
Daughter of Shamardal out of a Cape Cross mare. February foal who can come on for her promising third of 13 beaten 1½L behind Hermosa on debut. Another bold show looks likely.
Forecasts
Tarnawa (11/10), Fire Fly (15/8), Osmosis (8/1), Bellakris (9/1), Chamrousse (14/1), Credenza (16/1), Freedom Come (25/1), Gold Memory (33/1), Commodus (66/1), Paisean (66/1), Reeking Havoc (80/1)
Beaten just 1½ when thought good enough to make her debut in a competitive two-year-old maiden at the Galway Festival, TARNAWA can make use of her experience here to take the contest seeing off the attentions of the improving Aiden O'Brien-trained Fire Fly and the €200,000 Scat Daddy filly, Bellakris.
