Consistent sort who has returned from wind surgery in fair form, winning 1¼m amateur event at Ayr in June. Creditable efforts since, and visor replaces cheekpieces now, but stays well, and drop to 1m is a definite concern.
Took 18 attempts to get off the mark but she did so in fine style at Ripon on penultimate start. Would have followed up at Beverley last time but for going off too hard, and respected despite a 9lb hike in the weights.
Best effort this summer when close third over 1m at Ayr in July, and not discredited when switching to front-running tactics at Redcar next time. Needs improvement to defy his mark, but is unexposed at this trip.
Lightly raced for his age, and stepped up markedly on previous form when beating French Resistance on handicap bow at Ayr, rallying when headed having raced freely. Still rough around the edges, and can rate higher still.
Scored twice at Ayr last year, and signs that he can win off current mark when things fall his way, finishing a close second at Hamilton on his penultimate start. Just a respectable effort last time, and would ideally prefer softer ground.
Best recent effort when 1¾L third to Jacob Black over C&D last month, and had little chance from his position at Pontefract last time. No shock to see him bounce back now.
Hard to catch right, and totally unfancied when winning at Nottingham over extended 1m last time. Both wins this season have now come off a 5lb lower mark, and likely to prove vulnerable on past evidence.
Had twice run poorly over hurdles this year prior to switching to the Flat at Ayr last month; always out the back after rearing leaving the stalls there, and easy to have reservations despite the fitting of eyeshields.
Has run herself into form this summer, winning off reduced mark at Ayr (1m) last month, and running well on all three subsequent starts,. Current mark is workable, and she ought to give supporters another good run for their money.
In good form at present, runner-up in handicaps at Hamilton and Ayr before a creditable fourth over C&D last time. Up in grade here, though, and more to do from 2lb out of the handicap.

QASR is thoroughly unexposed, and showed a willing attitude having raced freely at Ayr last time to gain his first success; he will improve further with experience, and is undoubtedly the one to beat. Lucky Violet is in a decent vein of form and should give her running once more, with Zeshov capable of bouncing back from a poor run at Pontefract.
