Has improved rapidly this summer, winning his last three starts, all over 2m on good ground. Very game at Cork in defying 10lb hike for narrow success, has another 6lb to contend with here.
Decent on the Flat in France before joining Willie Mullins, has won back-to-back races over timber so far, latest in Listed company at Galway and without coming out of third gear. Sets the bar high.
Dual novice hurdle winner including on good-to-firm ground over this C&D in July and recently at Perth. Progressing nicely but this is a significantly step up in class seemingly given the opposition.
Well beaten in novice company at Ballinrobe (2m1½f, good) four weeks ago. Makes handicap hurdle debut and must improve dramatically.

The French import should have too many guns for these rivals. Feeling The Love has been in super form and comes here seeking a four-timer but might find the run grounded now while the progressive Pearl Of The West can keep going in the right direction without necessarily landing this prize.
