0-17 so far but has come close in turf starts at Catterick and Beverley in the spring. Didn't show best form at Kempton on the AW this week but likely to put that run behind him back on turf.

Generally disappointing this year but has come down the handicapped and now is potentially off a favourable mark so a decent display is not out of the question. Well held here last month.

5f winner off a 2lb lower mark at Windsor in July 2017 but failed to beat a rival home on return from an absence over this C&D last month on first attempt at this trip. Watching brief for now.

Improved on recent efforts to win nine-runner handicap at this course (6f, good to firm) on first start for new handler earlier this month. Stays this trip and still on a workable mark having gone up 2lb for that narrow success.

Back to form when second in C&D handicap on final start of 2017. Poor in one start this year on AW at Kempton in June, feasibly weighted but possibly going to need this run, check betting.

In truth hasn't achieved an awful lot in her five career starts, though best of those came in 6f novice contest here. First start for new trainer and off 283 days leading into this, market will offer more on expectations today.

Remains a maiden after 17 starts but went closest penultimate start over C&D (soft) when 1L second in May. Saddle slipped and no chance at Lingfield last month in sole outing since, a run that is best forgiven.

Forecasts

Spinart (4/5), Nick Vedder (15/8), Kraka (6/1), How's Lucy (7/1), City Guest (7/1), Gabrielle (12/1), Maazel (12/1), Moremoneymoreparty (33/1)

Verdict

Spinart remains a maiden but twice ran well in turf handicaps in the spring, he wasn't seen to best effect on the AW at Kempton this week but can put that behind him with a good run here. Nick Vedder recoded a personal best to win at Doncaster last weekend and should be in the firing line having gone up 2lb while Kraka remains on a feasible mark after scoring here over 6f on first start for new trainer. HOW'S LUCY has run her best races around here, including close second in May, and is worth a chance at the forecast prices with the saddle having slipped before she was called on for an effort at Lingfield last time.
