Three-time course winner with two of those coming over this trip. Had been running some fine races in defeat until flopping in a better race here last time. May be worth forgiving that, and back off correct mark now.

Won over this trip at Cork (soft) in May, and ran a creditable race when fourth of 14 to Youceeyouceecee at Roscommon (7½f) last time. Shouldn't be disgraced with a repeat of that.

Has won over C&D in the past, and built on a low-key return when a close fifth of 18 here yesterday Not dismissed if he can build on that, and is well handicapped on best form.

Won back to back races here including once over C&D in June, and unable to dominate when sixth at Navan. Good third here last time, when best of those to race to the fore, and respected in current mood.

Broke his maiden on the beach at Laytown and won twice on AW this winter, but not quite so good on turf, for all he wasn't seen to best effect over 6f here in May. Off since.

Running creditably in handicaps from this mark of late, and only beaten a neck when third of 6 to Ducky Mallon at Leopardstown last time. No reason why she won't give her running again.

Not disgraced at Galways at a big price, and built on that when winning handicap at Dundalk on latest start. Looks vulnerable having been raised a harsh-looking 6lb for that.

Disappointed over C&D on penultimate start, but back to form when close fourth of 13 to Red Avenger over 7f here last time, and hard to rule her out on that evidence.

Now 6lb higher than when winning at Fairyhouse in July, and well held over 5f here last time, for all he may have found that happening too quick for him.

Better on Polytrack than he is on turf, and while he ran respectably at Navan in April, he followed that with a poor run over this trip at Cork, and returns from a break here.

Has won over C&D in the past, but although he's twice made the frame this year, he is effectively operating below his best as a rule, and others have his measure on recent form.

One win came as a two-year-old for George Margarson before he lost his way. Just respectable efforts for current yard, and needs a bit more help from the assessor on recent evidence.

Still 3lb higher than when winning at Fairyhouse (7f) in June, and while she has run respectably in defeat since then, she may need a little more respite to regain the winning thread.

Not made much impact in three maidens, and failed to improve for the fitting of cheekpieces on handicap bow at Sligo (1¼m). Still early days with him, and takes a significant drop in trip now.

Still a maiden, but has run to a solid level on her last three starts in 7f handicaps, and not great surprise if she could get involved with slightly shorter trip to help. Tongue tie she wore last time is retained.

Running better than form figures would suggest, and did well when 2½ lengths seventh of 30 to A Likely Story over 6f here last time. Slightly stiffer test will suit, and she's not without a chance.

Best effort this season when third of 30 over 6f here on penultimate start, and better than the result suggests at Roscommon last time, when left poorly placed after a sluggish start. Capable off current mark.

Verdict

SHORE STEP makes most appeal in an impossible-looking finale, and he is building up a solid portfolio this season. Downtown Diva is less obvious, but has been running well, and should appreciate the demands of this intermediate trip, while it may be worth forgiving Rattling Jewel a rare poor run in a much better race than this last time.
