Has improved with each start, and very impressive when winning Group 3 Tyros Stakes at Leopardstown last time by 4¾L from Bold Approach. Will be hard to beat if in same form now.
Useful form on first three starts, but took a big step up when winning 7-runner listed race at Tipperary last time by neck from Highland Fortune. May do better, but in deeper water here.
Half-brother to smart sprinter Poyle Vinnie, and shaped well when 6¾L third of 11 to Inverleigh in maiden at Leopardstown on debut, but this represents a huge step up in class.
Teofilo colt who shaped very well when second on debut here, and confirmed that form by beating Mount Tabora in a strong C&D maiden last time, and merits this rise in class.
Kodiac colt who cost €120,000 as a yearling, and shaped well when beating Guaranteed in a C&D in July. Winner has franked that form, so folly to ignore with improvement likely.
Galileo colt out of Leopardstown 1000 Guineas Trial winner Empowering. Improved on debut when winning 7-runner maiden at Cork last time, but needs another big step up here.
Forecasts
Anthony Van Dyck (4/6), Guaranteed (6/1), Klute (6/1), Christmas (13/2), Mohawk (12/1), Could Be King (50/1)
ANTHONY VAN DYCK has made a deep impression already, particularly when winning the Tyros Stakes easily last time, and he will be hard to beat here. Klute beat Guaranteed here on debut before the latter franked that form next time, and both appeal as having the ability to make the frame as they clash again.
