Bred to do better with time and distance, and improved from debut when 4½L second of 8 to Zagitova in maiden at Cork last time. More to come, but held by that rival, and faces a tough task at this level.

200,000gns purchase who is closely related to very useful 5f-6f winner Kassia. Improved on debut effort (hooded) when winning a 15-runner maiden here last time. All out to score then, but will improve further.

Galileo filly who shaped well over C&D on debut and stayed on strongly to land a 7f maiden at Galway last time. Sure to do better again, and one to consider.

Ruler of The World filly who was unfancied for her racecourse bow at Killarney (1m) in July, but ran out a ready winner from Cardini. Form has worked out well, and respected, for all drop back in trip is an unknown.

Just an ordinary pedigree, but she caught the eye when a staying-on third to Decrypt over 6f here in June and improved on that when winning a C&D event two weeks ago by 10L. Looks an exciting prospect, and sure to go close.

Well-related Galileo filly who fulfilled debut promise when making all to beat Queen Medb over C&D last time. One of three for yard here, and Ryan Moore prefers Zagitova.

Has progressed with each race to date, and took form to a new level when winning 7f Silver Flash Stakes (G3) at Leopardstown last month. Sets the standard, and won't roll over without a fight.

Won over 6f here on debut and stepped up markedly when improved when ½L second of 6 to Marie's Diamond in Anglesey Stakes next time. That form has taken some knocks, but she is still one to take seriously on the back of it.

1,600,000gns yearling by Galileo, and half-sister to 6½f Group One winner Garswood. Confirmed abundant promise of Newmarket debut when winning a 1m maiden at Cork last time, and Ryan Moore's pick of three from leading yard.

Forecasts

Zagitova (2/1), Lady Kaya (11/4), Viadera (6/1), Skitter Scatter (7/1), Hermosa (7/1), Iridessa (10/1), Chocolate Music (12/1), Peach Tree (20/1), Vallambrosa (20/1), Bandiuc Eile (50/1)

Verdict

Zagitova will be popular given that Ryan Moore gets the leg up rather than on a couple of other promising sorts for the yard, while Skitter Scatter and Viadera have proven form at pattern level, and must be respected on that basis, but LADY KAYA is taken to get the better of them all after bolting up in a minor event over C&D a fortnight ago, looking every inch a stakes winner in waiting.
  1. Lady Kaya
  2. Skitter Scatter
  3. Zagitova
