Put a disappointing effort behind him when winning over 1m1f at Hamilton (good-to-firm) at the end of May. Raised 5lb for that success and returning from a break.
Well held in two starts since wind surgery in the spring. Stepping up in distance and probably best watched at present.
Victorious over 1m2f at Newcastle last September but struggled in three starts this term and returns from a break having had wind surgery since his latest start. Wears a tongue tie for the first time.
Held in a point-to-point and three starts on the Flat so far. Interesting to see how she fares now switched to handicaps.
Not beaten far when third over 1m4f at Doncaster (good-to-firm) at the end of June. Held twice subsequently and is dropping in trip.
Followed up a couple of good seconds with a victory over an extended 1m on good-to-firm ground here recently. Stays this trip and is likely to run well once more.
Finished a close third in first time hood (absent here) over an extended 1m on good ground in June. Not repeated that in two subsequent starts and an eye-shield is tried for the first time.
Seven race maiden beaten 3L into sixth when contesting a 1m1f handicap at Hamilton (good) last time out. Races off the same mark and claims on previous second at this venue.
Placed on each of his last three starts including over an extended 1m on good-to-firm ground here last time out. Stays this trip and is of interest once more.
16 race maiden and well beaten in two starts since returning from a break. Others hold stronger claims and is racing from out of the weights in this contest.
Nine race maiden recorded his first placed effort stepping up to 1m4f for the first time in a soft ground Thirsk contest last time out. Interesting down in trip.

JOHN CAESAR has been running consistently well in recent times and he can record a victory in this competitive handicap contest. The selection ran well over shorter here last time out but stays this trip and can get the better of Allnite who is dropping in trip following a career best effort last time out and remains unexposed over middle distances. Archie Perkins has finished in the frame on his two most recent starts and can take third stepping back up in distance.
- John Caesar
- Allnite
- Archie Perkins
