Improved for going up to 7f and switch to handicaps the last twice, finishing second on both occasions. Nudged up 4lb for not winning but this trip looks sure to suit and is a leading contender once more.

Zebedee colt bought for €14,000 last September. Three starts so far have not amounted to much but should be more competitive now switching to nurseries. Opening mark not overly generous but up in trip and market check needed for powerful yard.

Big prices and well beaten on all three starts in novice company. Nursery debut today but needs to take a big step forward to be involved all the same. Others preferred.

Only modest efforts so far in four starts in novice company. Step up to this trip should suit on handicap debut though and is very much respected for powerful yard.

Really modest efforts on first three starts. Hint of better when staying on from the rear on handicap debut last time in first-time cheekpieces. Step up in trip should suit and would have place claims if able to build on that now.

Didn't show much in two starts in novice company before a better effort in a seller last time. Steps in in trip here and makes handicap debut but needs to do more to be taking this.

Three starts so far all over six furlongs on turf and glimmers of ability have been shown. Starts life in handicaps off a lowly mark and could be dangerous going up in trip for yard that also run Spring To Freedom.

Didn't show a great deal in first three starts in novice company. Better than the bare form suggests at Nottingham last time on handicap debut when not getting the best of runs. Still early days and could do better.

Forecasts

Sophosc (10/11), Aisling (7/1), Singe Du Nord (8/1), Storm Shelter (9/1), Spring To Freedom (10/1), Fanny Grand (10/1), Pair of Savannas (12/1), Chakrii (20/1), Flash Sentry (25/1)

Verdict

Sophosc has improved since going handicapping and is very much respected here with this trip set to suit. Richard Fahey may have a pretty strong hand here with a couple of handicap debutants though and both Spring To Freedom and PAIR OF SAVANNAS are very much of interest. Preference is for the latter who has shaped like this step up in trip will suit and she gets in here off a lovely low weight.
