Won over 1m3½f (good to firm) for Eve Johnson Houghton last year, when 2lb lower. Badly out of sorts in both on Flat run and a hurdle so far this year and hard to enthuse about at present.
Multiple hurdle winner, mainly on good at around 2m. Last Flat win was in Jersey in 2015. Up against it.
15-race maiden, but has run some good races in defeat this season, including over C&D last time. Keeps creeping up in the handicap, however, and is probably an each-way player unless he can improve.
In good form on both the Flat and over hurdles lately, winning in the latter discipline at Market Rasen last time. Stable continues to fire and he looks very likely to be a contender from just 1lb higher.
3-43, his last win being here in 2016 and now on a 20-race losing run. Little encouragement from recent efforts and best watched.
On a 22-race losing run since 2016. Ran well over this trip from 2lb lower at Nottingham earlier in the season. Has had plenty of chances and, while not ruled out, he carries risks.
Without a win on the Flat since 2012 or over hurdles since 2013. Has only run four times since 2014 and despite a 5lb drop since his latest Kempton run, we can only watch.
Sole turf win was at Lingfield (1m3½f, good) in 2016, when 3lb lower. Has had several chances from similar marks to today just lately and others make greater appeal.
Still early days, but would like to have seen more from him on his handicap debut at Lingfield (1m4f, AW) last time. Step up in trip far from certain to suit and looks best watched, despite 3lb drop.
Course winner over 1m4f (good to firm) in May, but has looked in the handicapper's grip in two subsequent runs. Still 2lb higher than that win and in a better race, she looks up against it.

Forecasts
Ravenous (15/8), Fields Of Fortune (5/2), Sufi (4/1), Golden Image (7/1), Lucky Lover Boy (8/1), Rydan (11/1), Ablaze (16/1), Courtesy Call (20/1), Bamako Du Chatelet (20/1), Rossetti (33/1), Plymouth Sound (40/1)
Moderate fayre where FIELDS OF FORTUNE looks a very solid option and is given the vote. Alan King's string remains in good form and this gelding can probably be relied on to give his running again now back on the Flat, which should see him go close. Ravenous can join battle for the minor honours, though a bigger danger to the selection could be Golden Image, while Sufi makes each-way appeal.
