Landed a 16/1 shock when winning a Limerick handicap on good ground in June, finishing 1L ahead of 10 rivals. Wide margin defeats at Gowran Park and Galway running off his new mark since. Plenty to prove at present.
Ran fine race on the AW over 1m2½f at Dundalk five days ago, gets a useful claimer on board to assist now and not ruled out, despite wide draw.
Travelled nicely enough at Leopardstown last week but found less than expected, winner around here last month though and in the mix again on that form.
Winner at Gowran Park last time out, making best of a career-low mark, bumped up 10lb for troubles and duly facing much stiffer task now. Yard in good form.
Group 3 winner in Doha, not a lot to shout about in three starts since arriving in Ireland though, including over C&D last month.
Decent hurdler, though did win twice on the Flat in Germany before coming to Ireland, market may guide chances now.
Has won at this track before, yet to sparkle in four runs so far in 2018 but handicap mark slipping right down as a result and will surely take advantage somewhere.
C&D maiden winner back in 2016, also won over 7f on the AW at Dundalk in March. June's Leopardstown effort (second) would certainly see him in the equation, if producing it.
Former C&D winner, likes to get on with things and a dangerous proposition when handed an easy lead. Good winner at Galway on previous Flat outing (without a lead).
String of good efforts finally rewarded in Curragh handicap over this trip 10 days ago, bumped up 4lb and that shouldn't halt designs on another prize.
Very promising juvenile, place in Group 3 company and achieving triple-figure rating. Has plenty to prove after thick end of 500 days off now. Best watched.
Has run well enough in four starts this season, but was again well held in fourth behind Tremendous Leap over this trip at the Curragh and hard to see form reversed, even on revised terms.
0-7 so far, though has shaped with some promise. Sent off favourite over this trip at Naas last month and never looked like obliging. More called for.
Former course winner, shaped with more purpose in two recent starts at Leopardstown, both over this trip, and comes here in decent heart. Has gone up 3lb without winning.
Rana stormer over this trip at Leopardstown last time out, interesting to see if that can be built on (Third Reserve).

TREMENDOUS LEAP was knocking on the door fairly hard before getting his answer at the Curragh 10 days ago, a 4lb ratings rise might not be enough to stop his extending his stay in the winners' enclosure. Roibeard scored at Gowran from a handy mark last time and will have to prove as effect now upped significantly in the ratings. Mr Ormsby has shown form this summer while Monday's Roscommon winner Try Again and former course winner Avalanche are also notables.

- Mr Ormsby
