Without a win since May 2016, but knocking on the door of late, with two places in his last three runs. Battle for the lead between him and Andalusite could be crucial, and he is high on the shortlist.
Won at Chelmsford in April, and good second at Chepstow on penultimate start. Went off too quick here last time, and interesting to see if she is ridden with more restraint here.
Best effort this season when 1L third of 7 to Flying Sakhee at Lingfield last time; solid claims with a repeat, although looked a little half-hearted when initially asked for his effort, and yet to win a handicap after 12 attempts.
Clear signs of ability in three starts in novice contests, but he cut out quickly on handicap debut at Windsor (5f) recently, and that tempers confidence in his chances up in trip.
Unpredictable sort who won at Bath (5½f, soft) on final start last year and went close on AW at Lingfield on his reappearance. Has run poorly in three subsequent outings, however, and easy to oppose in current form.
Hasn't achieved a great deal in three starts to date, and opening mark looks very stiff now handicapping.
Pick of here efforts this season give her every chance, but she remains a maiden after 14 starts, and ran poorly over C&D last time. Should bounce back, but others preferred for win purposes.

FIELDSMAN has been placed in better races at Newmarket and Wolverhampton on two of his last three starts, and can end a long losing run if continuing in the same vein. Red Gunner has solid chances on form, although he's perhaps less than willing under pressure, as evidenced by his failure to win a handicap from umpteen attempts. Andalusite ran poorly here last time, but had excuses, and is dangerous to dismiss.
