Was 3-4 over hurdles and fences in France but disappointing on his latest start when failing to build on the promise of his Uttoxeter return. That performance is worrying given his lack of recent racing and the market will be informative,
Unpredictable veteran whose last three victories have come here. Up 7lb for the latest of these in May but has been found a good opportunity if in the mood.
His two victories over fences have come of much lower marks and the manner of his capitulation on stable debut was alarming. No surprise to see headgear fitted but he looks one to be wary of.
Progressive chaser who was denied a hat-trick by a tough winner who refused to be passed. This looks easier and he can be relied upon to be in better shape physically and mentally than most of these.
Former smart hurdler joined this stable for £5,000 two weeks ago having lost his way with Nicky Henderson and Ben Haslam. Yet to convince over fences and a challenging project for his new connections.
More than capable from this mark but a 420-day absence and a lack of his regular headgear see his prospects downgraded unless supported.
Forecasts
As You Like (5/2), Butlergrove King (4/1), Full Shift (4/1), Mille Nautique (9/2), Moorlands Jack (6/1), Candy Burg (10/1), Mitebeall Forluck (33/1)
AS YOU LIKE has less doubts to overcome given he in tremendous form and went well in defeat here last time. It is hard to be enthusiastic about the rest given doubts about the wellbeing of Candy Burg and the mental attitude of Mille Nautique. Course specialist Moorlands Jack is hardly well-handicapped but still poses a bigger threat than Full Shift and Mitebeall Forluck. The market should tell us how fit Butlergrove King is following a lengthy break.
